Yeah, 45m is a lot of money, I'm not going to lie - but I have no desire in selling one of our top players whom we should be building the squad around - we're not a selling club. On the flip side, you don't even know how good Mourinho can make him but history tells us that Mourinho can turn him into a great player and I'd definitely take that over money. Like you said in the Cavani thread - football is not just about buying the best players for huge money - it's about the bonds you make with a player, how the player affiliates with the club etc... You can apply the same theory to us selling Luiz. Would you take a 30m offer for Lukaku because we don't exactly know how good Mourinho will make him? It's ridiculous to sell a player off because he *might* not get better.
