  1. United and Arsenal both with hard groups. CL should allow us to rotate the squad keeping our team fresher for the PL. It's going to be a good season.

  4. Can finally say our quad depth is just as good as that of City's and United's. Finally.
  5. Brilliant. Squad is pretty much complete for the next season.
  6. He'll be announced today or tomorrow IMO.
  7. PSV right now is a great place for a young player to develop. They have several high quality young players in the first team XI, and are placing a lot of faith in them, and so far they're doing wonderful, having started the season off excellently. Jeffrey definitely joined the right club, hopefully he can now finally fulfil some of that promise he showed earlier in his career.
  8. Di Marzio: Eto'o has just signed a 1 year contract with @chelseafc #samuelbacktoMou
  9. Free transfer, 1 year contract, under £100k a week... Don't know why people would complain over that.
  10. Which is why he should start against Bayern hopefully.
  11. I agree with much you've said, and feel myself that Eto'o's a good signing, but you can't compare current Eto'o to current RVP.
  12. He can't make a single post without bringing up Mikel tbh.
  13. But Schurrle up front is? People are really starting to overstate this "Lukaku isn't ready" thing.
  14. I'm supportive of the signing simply because it's a great stop gap signing and he fills in a void in our strike force. The way he plays now, the new Eto'o, is the type of striker we lack; a technical striker. He doesn't need the speed or dynamism (even though he still has plenty of that) that he used to have because his game is more refined now to being a technical striker. It has nothing to do with whether Mourinho or Benitez is signing him. It just makes sense because we obviously can't get Rooney. A one year deal suits everyone.
  15. He'll start more often than not. We didn't pay £30m for him to have him as a squad player.
  16. RVP and Henry were strikers that had capabilities to play up front. Schurrle is a wide player that has capabilities to play out wide. It really isn't the same.
  17. Eto'o Hazard - Mata - Willian Lampard - Ramires Cole - JT - Luiz - Azpilicueta Cech Lukaku Schurrle - Oscar - KDB MVG - Mikel Bertrand - Cahill - Ivanovic - Essien Schwarzer Wow.
  18. Well it's official. He's a quality addition to the squad but wasn't exactly needed. Nevertheless he gets my full support as any new Chelsea signing will get. He'll be a good player for us because he's quality, but we'll have to loan out a player (most likely Moses) for this to fully make sense to me. Welcome to CFC Willian. Looking forward to having another fro in the team .
  19. The way people just reduce Mata as a player on here because he doesn't have the apparent defensive work rate or athleticism as our other attacking midfielders is quite sad. Creatively, none of them are on Mata's level. Mata's is one of the best number 10s (if not the best) in the world for me, and to see that people are now starting to entertain the idea that we'll still be well off without him (not completely denying that this isn't true because obviously no player is bigger than the club) is sad to me. It is clear Mata is very happy at Chelsea and is enjoying his time here, he's on the way to becoming a legend here. Like I said before, I can't wait till he gets to 100% match fitness and starts reminding people how good he is again, it's like many have forgotten. It's sad to see our best player over the last 2 seasons under appreciated like this.
