I don't even think he was average with us to begin with but that's not what I was saying - I was talking about how people still call him average NOW. I'm not even discussing about him leaving us either, I'm just discussing about the player's ability and his game today.

I think Mata is a better number 10, and Ozil is not amazing defensively either, so it'd be a (minor) downgrade. Wouldn't like that tbh.

Sturridge wasn't even 100% fit today, semi-injured (hamstring or thigh I think). Explains why he wasn't as dynamic as usual. It's funny that people are still calling Danny average. Liverpool's best league start in 19 years all thanks to three 1-0 wins courtesy of three Sturridge goals. He really isn't average. Anyone else saying he is is just blinded by hatred.

No, of course I don't watch football. Match fitness doesn't exactly relate to leagues like that. You're talking as if fitness in the Russian PL is equivalent to the Conference or something... Anzhi regularly participate in Europe, are a very big club in Russia and have good training facilities with a very serious manager in Guus Hiddink. How anyone can say he isn't going to be "PL match fit" (whatever that means) because he's spent two years at Anzhi is really mind boggling. It really isn't as drastic as you're trying to make it seem.
