Sturridge has improved at Liverpool for sure, but there have been a few people on here like myself and didierforever that saw that he was a special player when he was here. People always tend to forget that he was one of our best players under AVB which is a real shame. Sturridge was never given a fair chance here so of course he wasn't able to show it on a regular basis but there were quite a few people on here who said Sturridge does have the potential to be a world class striker if he was just given a chance and it looks like he's well on his way to be that.

Ask mr. Mourinho. Obviously there is a difference between playing at CFC and playing at EFC - but that's not my point. Here, if Lukaku has a bad game there are players like Torres, Eto'o and Ba waiting in the wings whilst at Everton it's obviously different. My point is that Lukaku needs to improve other aspects of his game so even if he doesn't score in a game he'll still bring lots more to the team. He wouldn't get that here at Chelsea simply because we have other players waiting in the wings and he still has to develop his game.

I'm pretty sure Lukaku will get his chance next season if he plays well over the season at Everton (which I'm pretty sure he will). Everyone knows he scores goals, that's not in dispute - it's his general play that needs to improve and he won't get the opportunity to do that here at CFC. There's no rush with this kid, he's only 20 and still has his whole career ahead of him. I rather him develop his overall game at Everton and gain more valuable experience by playing all the time so he'll be even more ready to take that number 1 CF spot.

He's being supplied by the likes of Barkley, Mirallas, Deulofeu, McCarthy etc. all very decent players, stop being so dramatic. It's not the proving of his goal scoring ability that he's going out on loan to Everton for. Everyone knows Lukaku scores goals, no one is disputing that, he's a naturally born goal scorer, everyone knows that. It's his general play that Lukaku has to improve, he needs to become a more complete striker, and you can't do that by getting minutes here and there at CFC, so retrospectively the Everton loan move is brilliant for his (and ours) future.

I don't think anyone is saying Lukaku isn't good enough. What people who agree with the loan move are saying (i.e. me) is that it's better for his development to play at a top 6 club that'll give him 90 minutes every game.

That's rubbish. Just because RW is an unorthodox PG doesn't mean he's a bad one. Yeah, he's not like your traditional PG but to say he's rubbish compared to someone like D. Rose is so far fetched. Similarly, yeah, I could understand people who say Ozil is slightly better but to say Mata is not in Ozil's league is ridiculous, and to say Mata isn't a good passer or creative just because the number of assists he gets clouds that is also ridiculous. Mata is one of the most creative no. 10's in the world. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise IMO.

Lol, don't be so melodramatic. No one had said that Schurrle is better than Hazard; all everyone is saying is that Schurrle is in better form than the Belgian hence why he deserves a start.

One of the best CBs in the world no question. Definitely top 10, even top 5 for me. Thiago Silva - Luiz is the best CB partnership in the world. Brazil are very lucky.

Personally I feel he needs a change of scenario. He's still pretty young and has a massive upside to his game, he's pretty much a complete striker that can do everything when on form.

Hope people will stop calling him "average" now. Typical Jose player that will thrive under him as he's showing.

If I could only make two signings next year, it'd probably be Gundogan and someone like Benzema. Benzema Hazard - Mata - Oscar (or whatever three) Gundogan - Ramires Immense.

Thank goodness people are finally starting to come around to Schurrle's quality. He'll be an immense player for us, gives us something so different. Hazard, Mata, Willian, Schurrle, Oscar, KDB. When all on form and when all have gotten more used to playing with each other it's going to be a deadly thing to watch.

Would be an immense signing. The perfect signing, definitely. Such a beast of a player.

Is Jose a fanboy of Mikel as well then? If he was such a poor player Essien would've played a lot more games and minutes than him this season.
