Read my post properly and you'll see that I think ALL of our strikers don't get enough service this season. It has nothing to do with just Torres.

What I find pretty mind boggling is the fact that people can't even fathom Nat taking over Essien's spot in the squad? He's obviously good enough to do so, taking away youth and the supposed experience Michael offers (look what experience did against Southampton).

Excellent post. Nail on head. Chalobah could definitely take Essien's spot in the squad. Hope he does when he comes back in January.

It's true though. Torres/our strikers don't really get good service compared to the guys Barbara mentioned (I'm talking about this season not about Torres in his whole Chelsra career).

Justifiably so (even though he has participated in 3 games since that) but he's been injured in the last week so understandably he's missed our last two games but I really wouldn't go as far as saying that the CB partnership has been established for the next 10+ games.

Poor is a bit extreme but I agree, the win did mask a lot of deficiencies. Personally, I'm satisfied with the result but the performance wasn't all that and that was down to I think Mourinho's initial team selection. He also made a bold risky move by going 442 but luckily for us it worked out alright today.
