The Willian selection is just so ludicrous. He’s shoehorning him in at CM just to prove a dumb point. No way he’s had a better CFC career than any of these: Essien, Ballack, Joe Cole, Mata, Anelka, Azpi (3ATB), even someone like Malouda or Tiago arguably. Heck, I find Kalou equally as valuable, perhaps even more so. Apart from that the rest of the team is good, would swap out Ivanovic for Azpi though.

Yeah. I would like to hear your take on his stamina and whether you think he’ll improve? I believe if he had let’s say the lungs of a Kante or Ramires - he’d probably be a first team player here already. He has the potential to be a player like Yaya if he had the stamina - it’s a big reason why he peters in and out of games in my opinion.

He took Gignac over Lacazette and Benzema to the Euros too, and doesn’t call up top talents like Martial up either (only did so recently after media pressure). He picks a washed up Payet and Coman ahead of him. If that’s who’s side you want to be on then great.

He does have stamina problems but that stems from him not playing lots of pro games. Hence why the Palace loan is important. I feel like he’s quite injury prone though. He’s had a few injury problems at Palace as well.

My opinion is that someone like Drogba or Lamps should coach here under Conte or as youth coaches first. The role is basically a glorified head scout (with some youth management), and that isn’t their strengths.

I think he’s an option worth looking at if the club is trying to save money for the mean time but still get in a quality player. He’d be a good placeholder if the club can’t get like let’s say a Dybala.

I was thinking Özil would be Fabregas’ medium term replacement. Could always do with a player of that profile in the squad. I envision Cesc won’t be starting too often soon and he won’t be happy.
