That link up play with Hazard today was orgasmic. Really hope we get a proper technical striker in the summer, someone like Benzema would be ideal. Wouldn't mind if we kept hold of Samuel for one more year, especially if we sold Torres and Ba.

I'm not talking about Mata's departure, I'm talking about Hazard now being our main go to player in attack now - before this season that was Mata, and I believe we're better off now that it's Eden.

Not wrong at all, it's damn right. As soon as Mata wasn't going to be one of our main players this year, we needed a new leader in attack. I'm delighted Hazard has taken the mantle because he's even more talented than Mata and has the potential to win the Ballon D'or if he continues in this form. We've upgraded IMO.

I can't disagree because much of what you said is true, but until this season Suarez was a pretty average finisher. He always used to get into great positions last season and his tally should've been a lot higher if he had a cleaner finish last season - but this year he's definitely put it behind him, he definitely doesn't need a lot of chances to score. Far more clinical now, as you said.

He's right, Suarez can score spectacular goals but there was plenty of times, especially last season, where he just missed clear cut chances. He's not the cleanest with his finishing but he's done well this year in that aspect.

Fair enough, thought you didn't rate him as a player at all. I can see where you're coming from, and he hasn't looked that great this season, but people are putting him in their world XI because of what he did last season and the season before especially, when City won the title. Also, Pellegrini's tactics is exposing City's CBs a lot more so obviously he's going to make more mistakes, it's inevitable, same way we look weak at the back without a proper pivot, is the same way Kompany is getting exposed now especially considering they basically have one man in the pivot (Fernandinho) since Toure has been given freedom to attack more than defend.

Please name some of these many flaws?

With Eden, it's rather a 'hope' thing if he'll get to that level or not. He'll definitely reach Ribery levels (well I expect him to anyway) but to say for sure whether he'll get to that Ronaldo/Messi level? I don't know... Those two are being talked about as being the best in the whole history of football, only a very select few reach that level. It's too much IMO to expect Eden to certainly reach that level. I'm not expecting Eden to reach that level because I don't want to set unrealistic expectations for him but who knows how he'll continue to develop. He's already a fantastic footballer, whether he'll be considered as one of the best ever we shall see but personally I'll be happy if we get Ribery level consistency from Eden at least. What I am liking now however is the fact that he now realises that he can be remembered as one of the best if things go his way and if he works hard enough (kudos to the likes of Mourinho and Eto'o for opening his eyes in that regards). If he does however end up becoming one of the greatest ever then we'll be lucky to have him at our club (we are already tbh but we'll be even luckier). We'll see what happens.

Said from day one that people should stop comparing Hazard to Messi or Ronaldo, the only top player that has similar style is Ribery. Eden has the potential to be better than Franck though.

Shaw is mature beyond his years, I'm sure he'll be able to cope. He's beyond his years when it comes to maturity in play. Also, there are barely any bonafide world class left backs to begin with - off the top of my head I'd probably just include Marcelo, Alaba and maybe Alba as world class left backs - Luke Shaw could be for us what Alaba was for Bayern (who was thrown in quite relatively young but also played like he's been in the game for years).

Neuer isn't that much better than Cech.Honestly, I'm for Courtois staying and Cech going in the summer but you don't need to underrate Petr to try and make your point more valid.

Of course, but that still doesn't warrant the type of support Torres gets. Some fans speak as if Torres is as important as someone like Drogba when that's far from the truth.

Ivanovic is our fourth best CB in my eyes. Luiz and Cahill are both better, if Ivanovic was better than those two in that position he'd start there but he hasn't started over those two in years when they are fit and available.
