You're confusing JT with Cahill. JT didn't duel that much with Aguero because Aguero kept picking on Cahill.

Well, we also have slow defenders in Cahill and Ivanovic. He should've taken them off instead.

There's a toxic cloud over the club at the moment and he's played a very big part in that IMO. Things just don't seem right at all.

This. The way we play just doesn't help Eden at all. Sometimes I do think we're really holding him back.

I don't think JT struggled anywhere near as much as Cahill did, watch the game again and you'll see that Aguero deliberately picks on Cahill for the majority of his chances. Cahill doesn't have the intelligence to defend well in another way but JT does. All we have to do is surround JT with pace. I.e. Last season - if we play Luis - JT - Zouma - Azpi, we'd be able to defend much more proactively. It's our manager that's at fault for preferring to defend in this style tbh, we've had the players to play more proactively but he refuses to do it.

Absolutely trash. I'm not even going to defend Fabregas on this one at all. But tbh. It goes further than Fabregas. It's the way we set up as a team.

I'm seriously doubting Jose will drop his favourite son Ivanovic.

This fully annoyed me. Why is he still trying to protect Ivanovic? I'm very scared that Ivanovic just won't get dropped this season. He was absolutely awful today. An awful performance from our captain. He's not a leader at all.
