Attending my first game at the Bridge for this season, can't wait. It's been a while. I think the team pretty much picks itself - Mou will go for experience at the back (most likely keep in Bane), and the only change I can see at AM is perhaps Oscar for Willian but even then I wouldn't expect it. Palace will be a very interesting challenge, especially as Pardew seems to do very well against Mourinho. We need the win as we need to build our confidence. I'll take any win atm tbh.

How did we play as a team? Costa barely even touched the ball. Lukaku has lost the ball countless of times in this game however and a lot of attacks stopped at him.

By Schurrle type I meant a winger that is all about off the ball movement and strong finishing. Not someone that always wants the ball to feet. Obviously Pedro has the technique as well though.

I don't think they played amazing before JT's red card. Pedro was the catalyst for us going forward, Matic and Cesc didn't have much to do with either. I have very high standards for both. They were the best pairing in the PL last year so they need to step up to that level again.

I'm not blaming Matic for Cesc. I'm blaming Matic for Matic. They're both struggling.

He's missing that hunger in his game. Way too comfortable atm.

He was all over the place and not usually his dominant self. He massively struggled. Both him and Fabregas are shadows of themselves.
