Something tells me this too was a panic decision by Boehly. I like Potter and he does tick a lot of boxes, but I'm fairly certain he isn't a manager that Boehly and Co had in mind since May for the club's long term vision.
-
Is it really that big of an issue? I know NFL football players that eat skittles and sour patch kids before kick off. It gives them immediate carbohydrates.
-
Moronic is believing a human being should perform 100% even when their confidence is shot. We have a manager who virtually hasn't a clue in what he wants. He implements a footballing philosophy that has zero sense of direction and players playing out of position. He criticises the players weekly and tarnishes relationships with everyone. Tuchel goes on record saying he doesn't know how to fix the issues at the club, and you have the audacity to complain about the players. Why should the players believe in what they are doing when the manager doesn't? 😂
-
Havertz at LW. Mount and Gallagher in the pivot. Sterling as a false 9. Players being overplayed. Him not fixing, and quite honestly contempt, with the lethargic slow possession play for what seems like years. He's undoubtedly lost it. It's a shame though as he steered us through absolute shit last season.
-
But again, when confidence is shot so goes form and hunger. Zagreb won because they believed in what they were doing. This can't be said about Chelsea for the past several months.
-
Imagine saying Boehly failed for not getting De Ligt and only got Koulibaly and Fofana as an alternative.
-
Of course not. He's won us 12 points last season practically single handedly. I don't believe any of our attackers are that shit. You create a structure that doesn't get the best out of the team, the players will lose confidence and performances like that will be a weekly reoccurrence.
-
People need to consider the greater scope when they claim the player's have downed tools. Imagine playing out of position in a system that doesn't get the best out of your ability, week in week out. Your confidence is shot. This game is far more mental than physical and its no surprise why the likes of Pep and Klopp have sustainable systems. Confidence is soring high with these players yearly.
-
Anyone else feel this was a mutual agreement? The sacking makes no sense which gives me the impression during their meeting Tuchel stated he can't do any more with the team?
-
So the football we play is justifiable then because we only brought in one elite player? You are talking bollocks mate.
-
So did Tuchel have to settle on scraps then? Behave. There is zero excuse to play football like that when you have the likes of Aubameyang, Sterling, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Fofana in the team combined with the likes of James, Chilwell, Mount, Silva, etc.
-
Friendly reminder every attacker that has left is flourishing.
-
This your same rational come December and we are 10th?
-
"If we did underestimate Dinamo then we have a problem. Me personally, I didn't." Is that why you played Mount in the fucking pivot and Azpilicueta at RCB you fucking mug?
-
Defence no longer covering for Tuchel's limitations.
-
I'm shutting this off. Boehly and the other investors need to have a meeting and soon. Questions need to be asked as we look no closer than rediscovering our form than we did since last season. We spent £300m and this is where the money went? Producing this shit football even Everton would be embarrassed of? On the bright side, we have a squad ready for a progressive manager to step in.

-
Maybe Rory Jennings was right.
-
Clearly they are more comfortable in arguing with an official than to actually implement attacking football.
-
And soon becoming a reality.
-
Boehly and co should have some questions that need answering. This is utterly unacceptable.
-
I am genuinely seconds away from shutting this off and enjoying the weather outside. What a fucking shambles of a performance.
-
You do have to wonder when the question "Poch In?" starts becoming an attractive proposition. This is just completely unacceptable at any level for a club that has spent this much.
-
Tuchel shaking his head as if he isn't primarily responsible for this horse shit.
-
Always thought it was funny reading people claim we should keep Azpilicueta for his “leadership” He’s an utter liability
