  1. This squad is depleted of confidence. Second guessing everything and elephant first touches. What the hell happened over the summer?
  2. That cross from James sums it up. Confidence is drained from this squad.
  3. Always thought Mount would be Potter's Mac Allister.
  4. Jorginho will unfortunately be the mainstay for Potter.
  5. I appreciate his endless methods of making money, but he needs to realise globalism and tradition don't mix.
  6. Kepa Fofana Silva Koulibaly James Zakaria Kovacic Cucurella Havertz Aubameyang Sterling
  7. Kante got injured earlier in the summer and now again. From absolutely nothing by the way. Like you stated, we haven't even played 2-3 matches a week yet which is concerning. I'm honestly getting fed up on how high a pedestal Kante and Jorginho are at this club in terms of them being irreplaceable when in reality they are holding us back. We need to move on.
  8. In an ideal world neither Kante or Jorginho should be here next season. The former simply far too injury prone and we shouldn't be relying on the latter.
  9. Genuinely all 4 players were an impossibility. - de Ligt was Bayern bound given the already established relationship between his agency and Bayern. - De Jong is a simp. - Raphinha only wanted Barcelona and its the very reason Arteta didn't even bother. - Kimpembe didn't want to leave PSG. We brought in Sterling, Aubameyang, Zakaria, Koulibaly, Fofana Cucurella in one window and managed to get rid of Werner, Lukaku, and Alonso. To suggest Boehly and Co didn't a good job is nothing short of an emotional response. Also, please tell me you don't buy that a multi billionaire sports enthusiast wanted to field 12 players on the pitch.
  10. Tomorrow was genuinely my only free time in the week but I guess I am spending it mourning.
  11. Potter brought over the assistant of recruitment with him. Does he now become head scout?
  12. Nor did I say they were. I said when Tuchel first joined Dortmund, both Tuchel and Potter had similar managing histories prior. Taking a lower level club to the Europa league. In Potter's case, he won back to back promotions before doing so.
  13. I would say Potter right now is the equivalent to Tuchel when he first took over Dortmund. Tuchel took Mainz from the bottom of the table to the Europa League. Potter took Ostersund back to back promotions and then got them to the Europa League.
  14. Not if this DoF and Potter are part of the club's long term vision.
  15. 🚨 It’s understood Chelsea are close to appointing a new sporting director with sources even suggesting the new man has had some influence on the move for Graham Potter. (@SamiMokbel81_DM) — Pys (@CFCPys) September 7, 2022
  16. Let's see how the players get on now they aren't working under a manager that is more worried about keeping the ball vs moving forward with it.
