  1. I did make a post a week or so before we signed Lukaku stating this signing would ultimately get Tuchel sacked. Looking how things unfolded, prioritizing Lukaku over Tchouameni and settling for Saul on loan, I was kind of right. Tuchel's bizarre thought process into thinking Jorginho, Kovacic, and Kante didn't needed to be improved on, will forever mystify me.
  2. I'd like to worry about rejuvenating the midfield first. Otherwise, what's the point?
  3. If we don’t bring in 3 or 4 new CMs next summer than we will experience the same shit.
  4. He’ll be cup tied in champions league. Hence why I don’t believe it.
  5. I mean if we lose and get out performed on Saturday, proof was in the pudding. We had winnable fixtures and rode some luck in a few of them. Let's see what kind of performance Potter and the boys display.
  6. Sancho and Rashford vs Dave and Silva? This match has a sense of inevitability in it.
  7. I don't see anything drastically different personally, other than hoofing it when needed. Nothing more than an improvement in performances given the new manager bounce. I still see the same lethargic intensity in matches, needless possession and zero ideas up front. It's a calamity how much we suffer when James is out of the squad, and given our investment and the quality we do have it is essentially why I am demanding improvement from Potter. We cannot be this one dimensional.
  8. A period of winnable fixtures and fortunate circumstances (injury stricken Wolves and Milan, Tomori sending off and Kepa saving our arse twice). Saturday is the real test.
  9. Losing James should not have us become this fucking poor. Ridiculous how one dimensional we are. Potter better fix it up.
  10. Scenes if Havertz is in the starting XI on Saturday against United.
  11. Had chances to win it in the second but didn’t take them. God help Potter if he starts Havertz again.
  12. Brentford are the type of opposition where we can't experiment. Congest the middle and have a high pressing forward line.
  13. So people are now pretending Zouma wasn't an absolute calamity when he was pressed.
  14. Doesn't Bellingham have actual creative metrics? Something neither Kova or Ruben have in their locker? Also if you are talking about a #6, that isn't Rice.
  15. The issue is that we have an abundance of midfielders that offer the same thing in Kante, Kovacic, Ruben, and Zakaria. All of which are ball carriers that offer nothing in the final third in terms of creativity or goal threat. I'd keep Kova and Ruben as squad players next season, but we genuinely need two massive upgrades in the summer, arguably three. A profile that offers creativity and one that offers defensive cover is a must.
