We had the chance to sign Tchouameni last summer both both Tuchel and the club prioritised Lukaku. We then brought in Saul instead. We then again had the chance to sign a midfielder that January and now this summer window, and again Tuchel didn't deem it a priority.

Which I understand but at the same time he hasn't addressed the midfield crises since he's been here. 2 seasons now. Considering that, he obviously values them to a higher esteem than the fans which could turn out to be a costly mistake.

Its incredibly how much he praises Jorginho and Kovacic + Kante despite the severe flaws all three of them have. The latter two have no end product and are injury prone, the former a complete liability off the ball and is primarily responsible for the slow possession play.

Wow. If no midfielder is brought in than Tuchel deserves to be sacked if our midfield continues to look poor. And it will.

Havertz at LW over and over and over again. Can’t shoot, can’t beat a man, can’t run the channels, can’t hold the ball, can’t win 50/50s. So done with Tuchel and his persistence on the matter.

We have an attack that hasn't improved in 2 seasons. Tuchel also had the luxury of having virtually every single different type of profile of a attacker in Tammy, Giroud, Werner, Havertz, Ziyech, Pulisic, CHO, etc and not one of them looked good. We also have a manager who fails to identify the blatant obvious in our midfield fragility and continues to put faith in under performers and injury prone midfielders. This is what worries me moving forward.

Their goal reminded me of that Rudiger mare when Lampard was managing us. Just kicking the ball out for a corner needlessly than conceding from it. Such a disjointed team with players who shouldn't be anywhere near the XI.
