We are 16th in the league in chances converted. To assume, or to merely hope we can drastically improve that with who we currently have and not a recognisable ST in the side, is poor planning.

Kovacic is technically Kante's backup. Tchouameni would be a backup to Jorginho as they are both the sitters.

True but Haaland is rapid as well and could offer a similar outcome. Also, I'd wager Mount and Havertz would be seen as priorities over Werner.

Price is off putting but you can realistically believe the club will do everything in their power to lower it. Either by player swap + cash or working with Raiola himself. We did it with both Havertz and Werner. Much like Havertz, Haaland is a generational talent. I can see us putting as much work as we did with the former because of that.
