  13. he doesn't understand that football is NOT at all like the the US sports leagues they have no relegation, no transfer fees and teams can go from fuckall winning history and ina couple years turn into elite squads, then collapse again you can literally trade and draft pick your way to the top in a few years the turnover rate on rosters in yank pro sports is insane with football rosters it is much slower on balance, when you try and move too much you lose team chemistry unless you have a WC manager now, with transfer fee explosions, and salary explosions and especially FFP you will never see a Roman style instant impact again Boehly tried and spectacularly failed
  14. he is a pussyklaat you can never be shit in football in the USA even outside of football, the most important foreign city on the planet (by far, nothing else is close) for yanks is London and in terms of big football teams, London has more than any other city the pussyklaat goes to the perfect city on the biggest team in London by far and goes limp like a an old man's cock he can stick his lack of desire up his septic batty crease he is suited for the MLS let him go big-fish-in-little-pond that shitehole league who knew--------- Captain America really IS a bitch
  15. Luis Enrique ‘disappointed’ by Chelsea decision after Todd Boehly talks https://metro.co.uk/2023/04/15/Chelsea-news-luis-enrique-disappointed-todd-boehly-decision-18618018/ Luis Enrique was left ‘disappointed’ by Chelsea’s decision to appoint Frank Lampard as caretaker manager as he wanted to take over immediately and have a shot at Real Madrid. Chelsea resisted the temptation to appoint a new permanent manager after sacking Graham Potter at the start of the month, opting to bring back Lampard to Stamford Bridge as interim boss until the end of the season. Managerial target Julian Nagelsmann – recently sacked by Bayern Munich – was reportedly keen to wait until the summer to make a decision on his next job, but Enrique wanted to take over at Chelsea immediately, according to AS. It is claimed Chelsea’s decision to hire Lampard on a temporary basis ‘disappointed’ Enrique, who wanted the chance to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League. Under Lampard, Chelsea suffered a 2-0 defeat to Champions League holders Madrid at the Bernabeu and now face an uphill battle to qualify for the semi-finals. Enrique had two spells at Spain after spending three years at Barcelona, in which he won two La Liga titles and the Champions League. Despite Enrique’s frustration that he was unable to join Chelsea as soon as last week, the former Barca boss remains one of the frontrunners to be Potter’s long-term replacement. Enrique, 52, had a video call with Stamford Bridge bosses last week before travelling to London for in-person talks with the Chelsea hierarchy, including Todd Boehly. Nagelsmann could yet beat Enrique to the Chelsea job but Blues captain Cesar Azpilicueta has hinted he wants his former Spain boss to take over. Speaking to Spanish outlet EFE, the defender was keen not avoid direct questions about the managerial situation at Chelsea, saying: ‘There are parts [of the club] who negotiate, that we trust with doing what is best for the club. We will see what happens.’ But asked if he liked the idea of Enrique or indeed any Spanish manager being appointed, the 33-year-old did say: ‘My best games with the national team were with him as coach.’
  16. I am going out on a limb and making a binding prediction IF we do not get Osimhen (odds are iffy we get him) and then do not buy Rasmus Højlund we will regret it massively the next 10 years I think the lad is going to be insanely good Victor Osimhen Rasmus Højlund Dusan Vlahovic Jonathan David Ivan Toney (as long as the betting shit is sorted) Randal Kolo Muani Gonçalo Ramos Marcus Thuram Hugo Ekitiké (doubt PSG will sell him though) Evanilson Benjamin Sesko Aleksandar Mitrović youth Vitor Roque Marcos Leonardo

  20. we have destroyed our 3rd best in the world club coefficient
  21. starting with the last truly shit (non aberrational, so not starting with the 2015/16 side, as it was an aberration) team in summer 1995 we have only finished below 6 TWICE 95/96 at 11th with 12 wins, 12 losses, 14 draws and 50 points (and then the next season we started the trophy hauls for real, 6 in the next 5 seasons) and 15/16 with the exact same record, and finished 10th (and we won the league on either side, I do not think that has ever been done, win the league, finish 10th or worse, and then win the league the very next year) GD + 6 in 2015/16 +2 in 95/96 -3 GD as of NOW with only 39 points and 2 more losses than wins, 10 wins v 12 losses and 9 draws
  22. what about (first season that was clearly likely worse) when we got relegated in 87/88 under Hollins and Campbell?
