  1. sounds like we were already on same page years before I joined the board
  2. Man Utd transfer news: Nicolo Barella would accept move if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes bid MANCHESTER UNITED transfer news - Nicolo Barella would accept a move to Old Trafford should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make a bid this month, according to reports in Italy. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1077709/Manchester-United-transfer-news-Nicolo-Barella-Cagliari-Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer Manchester United have been linked with a move for Barella amid his fine performances for Cagliari over in Serie A. The 21-year-old has impressed in Italy this season and, as a result, links with Chelsea and Inter Milan have also been rife. Manchester United have also emerged as possible suitors, however, despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having various midfielders on his books at the time of writing. Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini, Scott McTominay, Fred and Andreas Pereira are all currently at Old Trafford. But, despite that, Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport claim United are pursuing a deal for the star. Barella has previously looked likely to end up at Inter. Yet the report suggests Cagliari are relucrant to deal with Inter due to the fact they are unable to spend a big amount of money. The San Siro outfit are reportedly reluctant to meet Cagliari’s £43million asking price. And La Gazzetta dello Sport say both Cagliari and Barella would find it ‘impossible to say no’ should United decide to launch a bid. snip FFS Can we just fucking close him out PSG are DESPERATE to grab Paredes after Frenkie de Jong snubbed them for Barca they are, atm, reduced to using DANI ALVES at DH DMF atm I will just go hyper-ballistic if Manure grabs Barella
  3. If that had happened we could have hijacked the Mbappe deal and still had £25+35m left over, which surely would have come close (within £10m) of grabbing Alex Telles (who we have criminally ignored the entire time (3 years plus) we have been fruitlessly chasing bloody Alex Sandro). Left side of Telles and Mbappe would have TORN shit up.
  4. If you extrapolate out both Xherdan Shaqiri an Fekir to a 3500 minute season Xherdan Shaqiri adds up to 19 (ALL league) goals and 10 assists, Fekir to 22 goals (only 15 league) and 12 assists for £40m more. Looks like the Victims did good business.
  5. They MIGHT do that. My dog, what a clusterfuck the board hath wrought. We could have had £175m or so last summer. I am so hoping he just says fuck it and renews.
  6. It all comes down to an incredibly inept board, in terms of football intelligence (except at garnering huge revenues from sponsorship deals which any competent business organisation, not just football ones, can negotiate). The ONLY one on that list of 15 who has been definitively sold is Cesc, and he was sold for less than a third of what was offered last summer. We will take MASSIVE losses on all. Cumulatively I would guesstimate we will take in around £300-310m or so LESS than those offers when we finally do sell. So half of what we could have had. £300m plus around £50m or so additional cash would get you BOTH Mbappe and Icardi, and would have (if we had liquidated) still left us £320m pure net cash to spend on further upgrades. Even at reduced rates of sale, we still could have ended up this summer with this team (or very close). Some are now already purchased by other teams now, unfortunately, and for LESS than I gave as the buy price, lol, so the numbers work in my favour even more.
  7. The Lazio Zappa and Fulham Cahill deals fell through. Southampton maybe looking at him, but nothing is concrete. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1075754/Chelsea-transfer-news-Sky-Sports-Davide-Zappacosta-Gary-Cahill https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/24/with-cedric-soares-set-for-exit-southampton-must-consider-loan-m/
  8. Most of us do, but I cannot see the board or Sarri remotely coming close to selling him. No doubt he will be back in the starting lineup for most games. They love him, they think he is world class, and they just renewed him, so to sell him would be admitting they made a huge mistake.
  9. I see no movement on Zappacosta loan/sale.
  10. Good luck with that! They could sell Isco for £80m plus and buy Hazard for less or get him on a free in 2020.
  11. I have the perfect place for Mo. Fenerbahçe Ersun Yanal got hired in December and is having a shit start, Mo could come in for 6 months and save their arse They are the biggest team in Turkey, have never been relegated and in danger now. Deffo a pretty big club, in last ten years they have made quarterfinals and semifinals in the CL and the EL Moses just went there, so a player Mo knows Intimating as hell 50,000 seat Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium

  19. Obviously he is going to be compared to Lucas Torreira, as the are both young, Uruguayan defensive midfielders. He is 5cms taller than Torreira though. He played today and Uruguay lost to their River Plate derby deadly enemies, Argentina, 1 nil I will try and find some games to watch where he started. In terms of that tourney, keep your eyes on Marcos Bahia, 18yo Brasilian AMF. Looks special. Rodrygo is obvious the overall best player there.
  20. When won regardless of shit Torres was that evening.
