  6. FA may launch investigation into incident at Stamford Bridge after Willian has missiles thrown at him https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/01/27/fa-may-launch-investigation-incident-stamford-bridge-willian/ The Football Association could launch an investigation after objects were thrown on Sunday towards Chelsea forward Willian from the section of Stamford Bridge containing 6,000 Sheffield Wednesday fans. Willian was forced to hold up his arms to protect himself while celebrating at the corner flag after putting Chelsea into the lead. Midfielder Ethan Ampadu was later pictured holding up a coin. A pair of swimming goggles, bizarrely, were also photographed on the pitch. Steve Agnew, Wednesday’s caretaker manager, did not see the incident, preferring instead to praise the very vocal contingent of travelling fans, but it follows a coin also being thrown in the direction of the Manchester United players during Friday’s 3-1 win against Arsenal. Asked about the objects being thrown, Agnew said: “I wasn’t aware of that – it’s not the right thing to do. I would rather comment about the volume of noise. It was quiet from the Chelsea supporters. Credit to the supporters for being as loud as they were. It is a fantastic club, out of the Premier League for a long time, and we just have to build towards that.” Willian’s penalty had followed two decisions that both went against Wednesday after being referred to the Video Assistant Referee. snip fucking dee daa cunts
  7. Danny Murphy has no doubt about Callum Hudson-Odoi's thoughts on his Chelsea future https://www.givemesport.com/1447675-danny-murphy-has-no-doubt-about-callum-hudsonodois-thoughts-on-his-chelsea-future
  8. Former Arsenal defender Alex Scott, who won the Women's FA Cup on seven occasions, added that Chelsea should have sorted out Hudson-Odoi's future earlier by investing in his talents. "When you look at it, those players that are playing ahead of him, Pedro and Willian, their contracts are up in 2020 and so is Odoi's. If they do let him go to Bayern Munich, are they going to invest in Pedro? "I think they should have invested and made him feel more wanted at this club when you're looking at the future." Scott admitted she was surprised to see Hudson-Odoi start at Stamford Bridge. “Yeah [I am surprised],” Scott said. “For him, his mindset, where is he at? Obviously he is trying to push this move. “So it is [a surprise].” as usual she is spot on
  9. Aina Shines, Sees Yellow, As Torino Shock Inter Milan https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=30841 Super Eagles defender Ola Aina was in brilliant form Sunday evening for his Italian Serie A side Torino who defeated ten man Inter Milan 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Torino's goal was scored by Armando Izzo in the 35th minute albeit the home side created far more goal scoring chances. The on loan Chelsea defender, Aina, was deployed in the left wing position and he provided both defensive and attacking impetus to his team's performance. Aina, playing his 19th league game this season was shown a yellow card in the 76th minute for a foul on Matteo Politano, his second of the season in all competitions following the yellow card he received on January 13 in Torino's 2-0 defeat to visiting Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia. Interestingly Politano was shown a second yellow card in quick succession ten minutes after Aina brought him down for simulation when challenged by the Nigerian. The win takes Torino to the 10th position in the Serie A table with 30 points, 10 points behind third placed Inter. snip another Academy HG player we lose in the summer (Torino has option to buy, and has already said they will), and one who is miles beyond Zappacosta goooo board!!
  10. 25 man roster, (including 8 HG's, so no issue there) GK Kepa GK Gunn (HG) GK Bulka (HG) CB Rudiger CB Militão CB Azpi CB Ampadu (HG) MF cover as well CB Ake (HG) LB Chilwell (HG) LB Emerson RB Achraf Hakimi RB Reece James (HG) plus Azpi as cover DH DMF Jorginho DH DMF Sandro Tonali (after Paredes leaves to Boca from loan or buy) CMF Kante CMF Barella (He can play all 3 MF positions, so no pressure on Tonali to stp up instantly when Jorginho cannot play) AMF James (or Sarabia or Fekir) AMF RLC (HG) LW Pulisic (right footed) LW Lozano (right footed) RW Pepe (left footed) RW Malcom (left footed) (or Suso who is also left-footed) CF Jovic CF Higuain CF Tammy (HG) ALL EASILY paid for as I showed with an even more expensive roster here (some players on the linked one below are already sold to other clubs, so I have switched it up, usually with a less costly (but still great) option)
  11. Well Kane and Alli will still be out for both games I suppose
  12. Amapadu sure didnt he needs to stick to CB (where I SOOO rate him) maybe at CMF a bit I really really want Barkley to come good, but he is just playing like shite
  13. couple games back he was superb at crosses
  14. well, damn, lol. Painful knowing he is leaving, but still happy as this has put it to bed probably.
  15. Barkley has somehow managed to be worse today. Kovacic has zero end product as well. This is a neutered lineup. Only players playing well are Higs and Rudiger.
