  1. I have never said Hazard isnt world class because of his teammates, I was only addressing the Ronaldniho teammates versus Eden's teammates subject.
  2. Ancelotti is one of the all-time great managers, one of only three to win 3 European Championships, along with Paisley and Zidane. Enraged me when we sacked him.
  3. Ronaldinho had superb teammates in his 5 years at Barca. Far beyond anything Hazard has ever had.
  4. That RW/LW thing at Dortmund is hard to quantify. Sancho is now backed to being listed as a LW (which is what I think his best position is at the end of the day) but yes, absolutely, he has benched Pulisic at RW. Almost all his games in the Bundesliga have been as a RW, with his LW starts coming in other cup ties and CL. I think he is good enough to play either wing (obviously), but could so see him being our starting LW (pipe dream!). Dortmund has been using a LB (Raphaël Guerreiro, who is now listed as a LMF) at LW a lot. Their formations are so complicated it makes positional categorisation a tad difficult. They also have another great young LW in Jacob Bruun Larsen, who may soon join AC on the Danish national team) and another young decent RW in Marius Wolf. IF CHO (and it looks like he is) hellbent on going to play in the Bundesliga, I would so much rather see us sell him to Dortmund, with the same sort of 'right of first refusal/price match' deal that Shitty has on Sancho. Bayern will never agree to that I fear, AND I think CHO would get more time at Dortmund than at Bayern. Bayern now has 2 other potentially WC LWers since they bought Davies, plus Kingsley Coman and already have Serge Gnabry, who is hardly chopped liver, at LW as well. With Robben retiring, they have NO real RW. Either Davies or CHO (unless they buy another RW) will have to play there. I cannot buy into the spin that CHO will be happy at RW, he is all about the left. Dortmund could just shift back Raphaël Guerreiro to his natural LB slot, and let CHO and Bruun Larsen fight it out for LW (I think CHO would win).
  5. Oh, yes, for sure, but his being forced to play the false nine surely isn't helping his 'consistency' this year. Just my 2 quid worth of thought.
  6. CIES Football Observatory n°247 - 21/01/2019 Values Best transfers from an economic standpoint http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2018/247/en/ Issue number 247 of the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post presents big-5 league players whose current estimated value exceeds the most the fee paid by recruiting teams during last summer. Rodri Hernández (+€45 million) tops the table for fee-paying transfers ahead of Lucas Torreira (+€44m), while Emre Can (+€45m) heads the rankings for free agents ahead of Stefan de Vrij (+€39m). Juventus and Liverpool are the only teams with three recruits in the top 20 tables: Emre Can, Cristiano Ronaldo and João Cancelo for the former club, as well as Xherdan Shaqiri, Alisson Becker and Fabinho Tavares for the latter one. The excellent performances of both these players and their employer teams explain in large part the magnitude of the gap observed. Seven other clubs have more than one representative in the top 20 lists: Inter Milan (de Vrij and Asamoah), Napoli (Younes and Ruiz), Real Betis (López and Canales), LOSC Lille (Bamba and Ikoné), Everton (Bernard and Richarlison), West Ham (Wilshere and Anderson) and Arsenal (Torreira and Guendouzi). Current values were estimated using the exclusive CIES Football Observatory algorithm. Gap between fee paid and current estimated value (million €) Big-5 league players recruited in summer 2018
  7. Sarri has also knee-capped him with this false nine foolishness.
  8. The thing is, as much as I prefer right-footed LWers and left-footed RWers (aka inverted), Pulisic has mostly always played as a RW, despite his right-footedness. I therefore cannot conclude that Pulisic is a replacement for Hazard at LW. I list him as such in my projections (after we buy 2 legit left-footed RWers like Pepe or Malcom or Suso or Bailey or David Neres, pick two of the five), but not sure if we will play Pulisic there (at LW). Assuming we lose both CHO and Eden My LW preferences would be (given that my top choices are not doable and/or not available, ie. Mbappe, Sane, Dembele, Sancho, Vinícius Júnior, Anthony Martial (although really want him as a CF) and Lorenzo Insigne) would be: Hirving Lozano, Thomas Lemar, Ismaïla Sarr, Thorgan Hazard, Kingsley Coman, Mikel Oyarzabal, Steven Bergwijn, and finally Marco Asensio (obviously would be part of a RN swap deal, zero chance we drop close to the £90 to £100m (or more) on him as a standalone all cash deal that RM would demand). Wild card would be Coutinho, who can play at LW (I would think we would use him as our AMF though, ie the Hamsik role), but he is £100m. If we are going (doubt we would) pure WC-potential youth buys route by far the best ones (not counting the few I put in above) would be LW Willem Geubbels, Paulinho, Alphonso Davies (Bayern just bought him, lolol,), Rodrygo (RM just bought him this summer from Santos, he joins next year, so they will have FOUR (counting Eden) WC or potential WC LWers, they surely would have to sell one, I think they are cray to buy Hazard, as they are LOADED with 3 YOUNG potential superstars,Vinícius Júnior is blowing up as we speak) , Justin Kluivert, and Javairô Dilrosun RW Ferrán Torres, Reiss Nelson (super tough pull as he is on loan from Arsenal, who would never sell him to us), and Samuel Chukwueze
  9. ahhh, oki, sorry about the misreply then, and yes, fully agree
  10. Barella and Paredes do not play same position. Paredes is mainly a DH DMF, whilst Barella is more of a forward thrusting box to box. Barella could, in a oinch, play anywhere in MF.
  11. Full matches are the ONLY way to truly judge, and multiple ones at that. It is how I try and rate players too. It is how I fell in love with Junior Firpo and Nicolo Barella.
  12. The meh was very recent, after watching for last half year. I thought he was great at first, now have become disenfranchised a bit. Again, hardly my number one concern. I think if we had better supporting/attacking staff it would take the pressure off.
  13. I totally trust him atm as our starting CB
  14. they are!!! Was kind of a cheap shot on my part, as Jordan is arguably the greatest athlete in modern history.
  15. Do not think he is useless at all, I just think he is not the linchpin to build the system around with the current squad (and the board will NOT, IMHO give Sarri the Napoli level players to make his 4 3 3 work) He clearly needs a break as well. Fuck those Zenit cunts for trying to grab €55m from us for Paredes.
  16. Luiz is far from my worst concern, I hope to hell he renews, we just need a truly WC defensive CB as well. I am sorry if I came off as too harsh on David. I respect him loads, he has stepped up like a man and stopped the silly mental mistakes.
  17. More the system I think, than down to Jorginho alone, but I do have to say, after watching him half a year in the EPL, he is not up to speed defensively, which cascades over into the other 2 MF'ers in the 4 3 3 Sarri system. His passing of late has also be atrocious in terms of being the cauldron from which truly offensive football in boiled.. IMHO (and I am certainly not the football goddess) he has regressed from the beginning of the year. I am far from the only human seeing this, judging off myriad numbers of commentary videos I have seen.
  18. Check out the game posts Not my problem you don't like to hear constructive criticism. My hundreds of players evaluated and recommended as options/targets FOR us instantly shows how plazzy your so-called slag-off of me is I care DEEPLY about our team its why I don't settle for bullshit
  19. same as Jorginho? Pep may have won again let's HOPE NOT In Vespers Book of Truth sometimes the best deals are those best left undone Now that said, this is such a small outlay lets hope he just bought the next Mbappe
  20. Logical fallacy. The fact they CAN take him out means the system is fucked and he is not capable of overcoming this. Jorginho isn't a player who can have 80% of the opposing team trying to take him out and still win unlike
  21. You are responding to a joke of post. Pure strawman.
  22. Fucking outrageous Marina the puppet and Roman Inc didn't back him! He is a goddamn WINNER!
