Club interested in Chelsea forward – Blues’ demands of €3m loan fee + all of his wages are an issue http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-interested-chelsea-forward-blues-demands-e3m-loan-fee-wages-issue/ According to Turkish newspaper Sabah, Fenerbahce are interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Bathshuayi ahead of the Turkish transfer deadline. The Yellow Canaries have already strengthened their squad with Vedat Muriqi but Sabah say they are keen to add one more striker to their squad and their target is the Belgium international. It’s reported that Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is open to let Batshuayi leave the club and Fenerbahce are looking to take advantage of this situation by making a loan offer to the London side. After a loan spell at Crystal Palace during the second half of last season, the 26-year-old has returned to Chelsea but he wasn’t a part of the match day squad against Manchester United last weekend as Lampard preferred Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud ahead of him. However, Sabah claim Fenerbahce might find it difficult to meet Chelsea’s demands as the Premier League side are looking to get a €3m loan fee for the player and they want his new team to cover all of his wages. snip

Chelsea banned for TWO transfer windows

Manchester City avoid Fifa transfer ban despite breaking rules on signing young players https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/man-city-transfer-ban-fifa-latest-news-young-players-a9056256.html Manchester City have avoided a Fifa transfer ban despite being found to have broken rules regarding the signing of young players. City have been fined 370,000 Swiss francs (£314,725) by world football’s governing body after admitting to breaching regulations on the international transfer of under-18s. The Premier League champions faced being hit with a year-long ban on signings, similar to the punishment Chelsea received from Fifa for the same offence earlier this year. But in a statement released on Tuesday afternoon, Fifa announced City would only receive a financial sanction having “accepted its responsibility” in the case. City remain under investigation by Uefa, who are looking into their compliance with their Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules. A ban from next season’s Champions League is a possible punishment. The Premier League are also investigating City’s recruitment of academy players and FFP compliance, while the Football Association is looking into the signing of Jadon Sancho as a 14-year-old from Watford. But City have now escaped the prospect of a blanket ban on signing players, in what will come as a great relief to manager Pep Guardiola. In a statement, City said: “The club accepts responsibility for the breaches which arose as a result of misinterpretation of the regulations in question. “All of the breaches occurred before December 2016 when guidance on the interpretation of the provisions was issued, since which date Manchester City has been fully compliant. “The club regards highly and shares Fifa’s determination to ensure the protection of minors in football and has cooperated fully with the investigation which has been transparent and evidenced based at all times.” snip -

huge problem Werner is going to Bayern (looks 90%) on a Bosman next summer or may get him now for a crazy low price we are so fucked for CF options if Dybala and Icardi move this summer or in January as Iñaki Williams renewed till 2028 and has an insane release clause now (we fucking could have had him for only around £70m,ffs) Martial is now being used partially as aCF by OGS and looks very happy at Manure Neymar is leaving PSG (either Barca or Real) so they will never sell Mbappe anytime soon João Félix will now be at Atletico Madrid for years Lewandowski is 32yo next summer, so a no go Jovic is off the board for years Maxi Gomez just moved to Valencia and said he doesnt want to play in the EPL, took a shit tonne less in salary to stay in La Liga the only true options I see left are to hope that Icardi and/or Dybala do not move (extremely doubtful) or we buy one or both and do a loan-back to some club or Zaha as a CF (I like that), especially in a front 2 and buy Ante Rebic to pair him with or spell him (they both can play winger, SS and CF), Richarlison is another option like this too, I think he would be great at CF or in a front 2,and obviously is a great winger, the cost for Zaha and him will be insane though or (and dog help us how expensive he will be if he has another 30 goal yeat) cough up huge quid for Krzysztof Piatek (fucking board, we could have owned him thsi January past for only £31m, plus subtract the £16m shit away on higs,so only £15m net) If he has another 30 goal year, he will cost at least £110 to £125m the 3rd (barring Dybala or Icardi) option and it is a wild gamble in terms of him playing immediately 'is João Pedro from Fluminense, but he is so young, only turns 18yo at the end of September, and Watford have his rights, so it will be tricky all other options are huge steps down in quality (unless one of the new transfers for thsoe 5 CF's blows up in the EPL (Joelinton, Wesley, Cutrone, Haller, Kean), , but then they will also cost a shedload, probably more than they are worth Maybe Moussa Dembélé from Lyon, but I am not sold on him yet, this season will tell, lets hope he comes good as he then is a viable option overall its really slim pickings out there, especially if Dybala and/or Icardi move I doubt the club looks at Zaha/Richarlison/Rebic as the CF types they want like I do (they fucked off on Martial last year) I doubt they toss crazy quid in for an 18yo (João Pedro) that leaves Piatek and that assumes AC Milan will even sell him only other options are one of those 6 potentials has a great year to prove they are worth the huge cash or Moussa Dembélé potential bad bad news ahead, more than 50% likely thanks board!!!!

How Real Madrid’s failed Paul Pogba transfer has left Zinedine Zidane ‘on the brink’ before new season There is likely to be more business in the transfer window given how unbalanced Real Madrid’s squad appears, but a mixed summer may already have pushed Zidane to the door https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/real-madrid-paul-pogba-transfer-zinedine-zidane-manchester-united-la-liga-season-preview-a9054236.html Real Madrid’s inability, or unwillingness, to make a serious effort to sign Paul Pogba this summer points to big differences between coach Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez. And it spells serious trouble for the former galactico’s second spell on the Bernabeu bench. On his return last March to clean up the mess overseen by failed successors Julen Lopetegui and Santi Solari, Zidane talked openly about a “second project” and how the current squad badly needed to be shaken up. “We will change things, for sure,” Zidane repeated regularly over the following weeks. He soon made clear that signing star players he had long admired including Pogba, Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe was central to this new project. snip

Chelsea and Arsenal target reprimanded by club ahead of potential January transfer escape https://www.caughtoffside.com/2019/08/13/zaha-chelsea-arsenal-transfer-latest-news/ Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha has been told to give 100% commitment to the club until at least the January transfer window amid links with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal. The Ivory Coast international’s future dominated headlines for much of the summer as a move to a bigger club looked likely due to strong rumoured interest from some big names. snip

TRANSFER NEWS: RAFINHA ON THE VERGE OF COMPLETING VALENCIA MOVE http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2019/08/13/transfer-news-rafinha-on-the-verge-of-completing-valencia-move/ Rafinha Alcantara is reportedly close to securing a departure from Barcelona, with Valencia set to seal a deal to bring the Brazilian in on a permanent transfer. Spanish publication Sport claim that Valencia and Barcelona are working on a deal over the transfer of Rafinha Alcantara. The Brazilian has reportedly been deemed surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp and is close to sealing a permanent move to fellow La Liga side Valencia. The report says that the two clubs are not too far apart in their valuation of Rafinha, who also wants to complete the move to Valencia. Sport added that Rafinha has, in fact, agreed personal terms with the club, with the deal set to completed now that Barcelona have returned from the United States. snip

Adil Rami sacked by Marseille after skipping training to feature on Fort Boyard https://www.givemesport.com/1496957-adil-rami-sacked-by-marseille-after-skipping-training-to-feature-on-fort-boyard?autoplay=on Last summer, Adil Rami was part of France’s World Cup-winning squad in Russia. The defender may not have featured during the tournament but, the fact is, he’s a World Cup winner. While Rami will never forget the summer of 2018 for all the right reasons, he’ll never forget the summer of 2019 for all the wrong reasons. On June 25, he was dumped by Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, being branded a “monster” on Instagram. And now, the 33-year-old has been sacked by Marseille. According to L’Equipe, Rami has been dismissed by the Ligue 1 club after he skipped training to compete in the TV show Fort Board, where he got involved in a mud-wrestling battle. The incident occurred on May 20, two days after a win against Toulouse in which Rami was injured. The Frenchman was due to report to training as usual but instead starred in the game show, Fort Boyard despite still carrying a knock. At the time, Marseille were unaware of his appearance in the episode. That was until it aired on TV on June 29. The club reacted by telling Rami not to report for pre-season duty. But now, after consulting with lawyers, the club have found grounds to sack Rami for serious misconduct. It completes a miserable six weeks for the former Lille, Valencia, Milan and Sevilla man. He was publicly shamed by Anderson, who he shares twins with, on social media after a two-year relationship. Anderson posted a black and white picture of them smiling together with a lengthy caption which included: "I’m glad I spoke to his ex. My God. He lied to her about all too. She's also in shock and is very sad. "I'm devastated to find out in the last few days. "He used to joke about other players who had girlfriends down the street in apartments close to their wives. "He called those men monsters... He is the monster." No girlfriend and no football club in the space of a few weeks. Ouch.

wow, missed this, a yank team grabs a great player who is only 23yo LA Galaxy sign Cristian Pavon on loan with option to buy from Argentine club Boca Juniors https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/08/08/la-galaxy-sign-cristian-pavon-loan-argentine-club-boca-juniors The LA Galaxy made a blockbuster move on Deadline Day, acquiring Boca Juniors winger Cristian Pavon on loan through the remainder of the 2019 season. The move was announced Thursday morning. The Athletic has reported that it’s a free loan, allowing the 23-year-old’s salary to be bought down with Targeted Allocation Money. LA would have the option to buy or loan Pavon for the 2020 season, when multiple Designated Player spots could open as contract situations loom for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romain Alessandrini. Pavon has made 11 appearances for Argentina’s national team, most prominently at the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He did not appear in the 2019 Copa America, though he has featured at the 2016 Olympics, 2015 U-20 World Cup and 2013 U-17 World Cup.

Pedro was a main overall starter on most all of those insane Pep and post-Pep Barca teams from 2008-2014 2008-9 was his rookie year, so played only a little, he missed 11 games in 2011-12 due to minor injuries (still produced 19 total goals + assists), but was averaging around 3300-3600 minutes every other year, including 32 and 35 and 32 total goals produced years he was a monster player, one of my all time favourite Barca players He was only part time in his last year there, 2014-15, and still played a role in 20 goals (11 goals, 9 assists) in only 2200 minutes from 2009 to 2015, he averaged almost 27 total goals produced per year, and that was with him basically missing/not playing almost 3/4 of a season's worth of minutes Eden averaged almost 29 total goals produced per year here over his time, and that was playing hundreds more minutes per year on average, over 1000 more in 2 of those seasons (4441,and 4521 minutes per year), and had another near 4000 minute season too) Pedro in 2016/17 put up great numbers for us in the limited amount of minutes he played, 25 total goals accounted, which, if he had an Eden higher season level of minutes he would have more than likely ended up with over 40 total (he was 29yo then, so certainly capable of it, IF we had needed him to log that amount)
