  1. Because you're probably an idiot if you thought he was poor yesterday. He performed miracles despite our CB's inability to pass the ball. Even rival fans were saying he was very good.
  2. Lol clueless. He was very good tonight.
  3. Kind of gives credibility to the claims names are more important than ability at Chelsea. Sturridge and De Bruyne have also complained about this.
  4. Anyway it's obvious Hazard needs to leave this summer. Fans have turned on him after Mourinho's sacking.
  5. The bulk majority of PSG's chances came down Pedro's flank not Hazard's. Hell, Lucas drifted infield in the 2nd half because Baba/Hazard weren't giving much away.
  6. Hazard needs to leave this club ASAP. Our fans our beyond clueless. He was great in the 1st half and was at the heart of our best moves yet he's getting abuse for tiring? Yeah he gave the ball away but you need to take risks when you're playing on the counter and can't keep the ball. All this criticism is mind-boggling it's like people don't even watch games anymore. Costa missed two clear-cut chances and was the worst player on the pitch in the 2nd half yet all the talk is about Hazard who's not even fit.
  7. How are people blaming Oscar for that miss? It was a difficult ball to control. Can't believe he's getting more abuse than Costa who was woeful.
  8. All the people who wrote Baba off are looking like idiots now. Clearly a class player just needed a proper chance. King Emenalo unearths yet another gem.
  9. Yes. He's arguably the best RB in the World.
  10. All good points BUT when we see how easily Cahill let an average player like Townsend score yesterday I have to be pessimistic. I think we can score against any team at the moment but I still don't trust our pathetic defence.
  11. Because we smashed an awful Newcastle team?
  12. Got way too stick from Chelsea fans. Been by far the best CM in the League since Hiddink's arrival.
  13. What's with the anti-Baba circlejerk on here? Am I the only one who thinks he's class? Ivanovic gets ruined every week yet he gets slagged off for allowing in a few crosses despite no continuity all season long.
  14. We didn't buy him and Costa's the most in form striker in the League. He'll come in handy when FA Cup/CL fixtures begin and we start resting/rotating players. You guys need to accept the Pato move for what it really is. A trial. If it works out we get a versatile attacker for pennies on the dollar, if it doesn't we move on in the summer.
  15. I don't get the meltdown over his lack of fitness. It's been over two months since he last played a game and he's coming from a League that plays at a snails pace compared to the PL. When you see how (annoyingly) patient we're being with Hazard it's unsurprising we're careful with Pato. Hiddink seems like a manager that prefers to play players that are 100%.
  16. He's a peado, rapist, liar and a cheater. He deserves to die.
  17. Exactly. JT needs to go. He should've retired last season in fact.
  18. He plays that role well for Germany and Madrid.
  19. Except Martial did destroy him. Even a finished Rooney easily went past him. Only player I feel bad for is Baba
  20. Matic was average after Luiz left. He had the odd WC performance but he was extremely inconsistent and especially horrendous in the big games. Let's not forget what a ten man PSG did to him. People scapegoated Cesc for his incompetence but nothing's changed even with Mikel beside him.
  21. Musonda didn't really get bullied. He's just playing on a poor team that couldn't string passes together hence why I compared them to a Championship team. They only had 1 win at home all season before yesterday. He didn't get a chance to showcase his ability because he simply couldn't get the ball. Anyone downplaying his dribbling ability and being dismissive of that performance isn't being very smart. First thing you look at for players like Charly making the leap is if their technical ability can translate at the senior level especially for someone of his build. Any average young player can score a goal or make an assist. The key is seeing just how good his first touch, flair, intelligence, close control, dribbling and ball retention skills can be against first team opposition, & if he has the fearlessness to attempt them. The likes of Messi, Neymar, Hazard (not comparing him to them yet obviously) all had that early on, it's the mark of a special player. That's what I'm looking forward to seeing the most over these next couple of months. All in all it was a very good professional debut especially considering he was playing out a position
  22. I watched the entire match because football just isn't Mikel/Matic in the middle he was unreal which is staggering considering this was his professional debut. He started out at the right wing and although he drifted infield several occasions, pretty much played primarily there. His dribbling ability is almost close to Hazard's level he even stole Eden's shield the ball with your arse and win a FK move. He ran them ragged for 90 minutes and got a ton of their players booked. He was so good that Gaya (one of the most promising LB's in the world) got sent off because he couldn't handle him. He's a dynamic player like Hazard, plays on the move and is a born entertainer. He even got his name chanted by the home fans towards the end which shows you I'm not exaggerating. Clear MoTM today, clever flick set up the cross which led to the winner. Wish he was on a better team though. Betis play Championship football. They've even got the generic black DM and everything. Ball barely touched the ground in the opening half hour.
  23. You don't even need pace to be a great DM if your positional sense is great. Look at Alonso, Kroos, Busquets, Motta etc
  24. Pretty depressing how he's been treated by both Mourinho and Hiddink
