This dip in form is normal. All young players go through it at one point. The first name that pops into my head right now is Thomas Muller for example. Not even close to what he was last year this season. So I'm not worried, we'll just have to see how he does next season.

I see him as a 'more exciting' and more technically gifted version Lamps personally, think he'd be the perfect replacement. Will be interesting to see in what role he'll play for us. My bad. I just checked his stats and you're right (though it's 3 of the last 4 seasons). It was just in the matches I saw of him in the past years he looked threatning but didn't score or assisted much. His statistics aren't bad at all, good news.

We're only talking about the now. In the years 2009 and 2010, Malouda was a class player for us and I'll always be grateful for the role he played in winning the Double. But right now he's simply not good enough for us sadly.
