That's what he does, he scores goals. His positioning and movement is incredible, which allows him to score those tap ins. And I was talking about his overall goal-scoring record in the CL. Nobody's saying he's an amazing all-round footballer but he's an amazing goal-scorer. I'd love to have someone in our team who scores 40 tap ins per season.

Well he scored against Man City, Napoli and Real. And you're right about him not scoring against the top 4 in the league this season, he did score goals in the big games last season. The same in his time at Stuttgart. And look at his record in the CL. So it doesn't say much. But of course I hope he won't score against Chelsea but the man is dangerous.

I'm not writing him off but Robben's out of form. Ribery and Kroos are in very good form while Gomez can always punish you, extremely dangerous striker.

Robben isn't the one we should be woried about. It's Ribery, Kroos and Gomez who can really hurt us.

Different players but I still rate Lampard higher, though it's not by much. Gerrard has more power but Lampard is far more intelligent and more effective. They're both nothing special on a technical level and pretty similar in that regard. Their influence is hard to compare due to Gerrard's combatative style, which automatically makes it look as if you're more of a fighter and care more. Plus, Lampard at 33 is still better than Gerrard at 31 . But at the same time, I can see why one would rate Gerrard higher. Pool fans would tell you he's just as good as Zidane though.
