Hazard is without doubt the most talented player in the team but badly needs a mentality that matches his talent both for Club and Country (See world cup). He needs to be more direct too.
Robben and Cristiano Ronaldo were less direct earlier in their careers but the moment they added that to their game, they became even more dangerous than ever before.
Sometimes, especially this season, Hazard is often scared of entering the box, or shooting at goal.
No goals and 2 or 3 assists all season with one/two penalties already taken is not good enough for the EPL POTY last season. It is not even good for his personal development.
I really don't know how hard he trains presently, but I really do hope he starts performing well and scoring again. The team really needs him (as well as Fabregas, Diego and Matic of last season) just like Barcelona needed Messi two seasons ago.

I absolutely love this guy. In this generation full of spoiled little kids, he's something different. No fancy haircuts, no shiny tattoos, just a serious guy playing football with ambition and hunger of success! Probably my favourite player at the moment.

1. I was saying Mourinho did not turn Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Di Maria and Ozil to TOWNSEND kind of player because:
A. Ronaldo, Benzema, and Higuain all played better under Mourinho than they ever did under attacking minded Pellegrini,
B. Ronaldo, and Benzema, (because Higuain did not play for ANCELOTTI) also played much better and scored more, to SOME EXTENT, under Mourinho than they did under ANCELOTTI.
C. Ozil played much better under Mourinho than he's currently doing under another example of an attacking minded coach.
2. I also said that based on your assumptions, we could also say that Ancelotti also turned Bale into another Townsend last season.
3. I concluded that it all short memories, just like some fans calling Hazard an overrated player simply because their arguments just like yours is totally flawed and baseless.

I don't for once think the money has ever been the problem. The real question is that, will sacking Mourinho now end the problems? Who's is going to come as interim manager? What if we still end up winning nothing as well as not qualify for champions League with the interim/new manager? Could it be ever worse than that even if José is kept till the end of the season? These are vital business questions.
Remember, Roman sacked Ancelotti, paid him close to 10M according to reports, signed AVB, paid Porto about 13M, only to sack him after six months due to player power, and also paid him another millions as severance package.
The real problems have never been fixed before and won't be fixed by sacking José now. It'll only start the cycle again.

But you know that when you've conceded 22 good goals mostly from individual errors, with the highest number of shots against, then you know that part of the problem is mostly defense and not attack.
I know that our attack isn't ticking at the moment but you can only blame the manager for so long when some of our key attacking players are off form. We've scored 16 goals, same as Tottenham presently 6th on the table. The only difference between us and them is mostly defense because they've only let in 8.
Look at the game against Liverpool for example, they didn't have any successful through ball and they managed to score three in almost the same fashion. The scorer touched the ball at least thrice in the box for each goal. Those things kill attacking moral as well.
Also, look at the Stoke game, arguably our best game this season. We were playing so well in attack only to let in a goal because no one was ready to close down the player on the ball. That's very frustrating.
Yesterday, Man City didn't get a goal until about 70 minutes but they were only up because their defense hadn't let in a freaking goal or two. Remember, the last time they let in two goals in a match, they lost at home even with their superior attacking game play.

Wait.... I believe Hazard has been one of the worst three or four performers for us this season so far. His offensive play has been unbelievably bad. He's become very lazy too. If his attacking play is bad then he has to help the team defensively. It's a collective effort.
We should not forget than Under Jose Mourinho;
1. Arjen Robben tracked back, and his game wasn't terrible during his time with us if not for the injuries.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo also tracked back. He went on to score way more goals than he did under the "entertaining" Pellegrini.
3. OZil tracked back. He's never had a better season under any other manager. Remember, he's also benched for this same reason at a particular time.
4. Samuel Eto sacrificed himself for the team when he wasn't scoring much at Inter.
5. Last season, Hazard became more hardworking, tracked back very well when he lost possession. He had his best season IMO.
For other players like him,

@Jokesy, don't get me wrong, I know Hazard has been poor this season (the team's inability to attack doesn't help). But why does José publicly criticise him, while coming up with excuses for Ivanovic or not even metioning Cesc? How many games since Mourinho has arrived did we see him as the only one who tried to play football?
What I want is fairness and for him to stop being a hypocrite, to treat everyone the same. To take the blame for this run, not to come up with excuses or deflect everything on to the others.
Oh, and for the team to start playing football for the first time since the end of 2014. I'd really love that.
