Exactly. Say we go out on the FA Cup's quarter finals against City, Everton, Nottingham, whoever, I wouldn't mind United winning it as long as José is managing them. On the league table as long as we are above United and José is above Guardiola, everything is good with the world.
-
Finally a decent rumour.
-
André Gomes too? I'm just going to go cry in the corner now.
-
Zouma and Varane are waving. Wonder why we won the league a season before with the same defence. Bar the addition of Papy that is.
-
Prices have gone up these days sadly. I would rather pay hefty sums for players you know they're going to perform and with time become better than overpay for players who have a huge question mark over their head and they're more likely than not going be only decent-ish in the future. (Granted Rudiger may turn out great, but everything in Roma's kit suggests he's not going to.) These kind of signings is why we are where we are nowadays.
-
^ There you go, one of the defenders we should get instead of Rudiger is going to a rival. José is going to turn him into a beast.
-
Funny though considering you advocated for us to sell him when he was in shit form.
-
And that's why he should improve his passing and shooting technique (He can do it, so why not work on it) I'd wager he would have had a better season.
-
Reus is the better shooter and passer of the ball for me, which are traits I rate higher in a winger than just and only dribbles. Yes Hazard has more chances created to his name, but take dribbles away from him and what he has? A season just like the one he had. Horrid. Ideally I would want them both in my team.
-
I would still take him. When not injured he has more to his game than Hazard.
-
Chiellini, Barzagli, Bonucci, Pjanic, Nainggolan, Higuain, Berardi, Perin, Insigne, Morata, Icardi, Marchisio, Koulibaly, Florenzi. Just from the top of my head. Of course they would have a varying amount of success elsewhere, but they would be from good to very good players in any league. Some serious underrating going on in here.
-
That's like saying we need to buy all the players from the French league because we've had success with them. Simply we've not bought wisely from the serie A.
-
Did Costa specifically say multiple times "I'm going to stay with Atletico"? What is starting to make it unrealistic is the fact that he himself has said once or twice he is going to stay at Roma. Other than that I don't think the difference between Roma and Chelsea is that palpable. Chances are they would slaughter our midfield with what they have. The guy has spent his whole career in Italy and his team is so close to the title, what if he wants to win the Serie A finally? He has a pure "hate" towards Juventus (love that) what if the fact we have Conte plays to our disadvantage? His team is in the CL next year, ours is not. There is plenty of reasons why he wouldn't come. I hope he comes though.
-
We're signing Nainggolan ever since April, it's not going to happen.
-
These ratings are so misleading.
-
Obviously i focused myself on the latter part of your post which is quite inaccurate
-
I love him even more now
-
It's like someone at Chelsea has a raging inferiority complex or was repeatedly bullied as a kid and now wants to be proven right just for once in his life
-
If we want another striker in this mould, why don't just go for Aboubakar?
-
??? It's not like they were shit before, they've always been solid players. And their name didn't go out of Italy only after 2012, it only went out stronger because they started winning things. Barzagli is a world cup winner. Chiellini plays at Juve ever since 2005, first national cap in 2004 at the age of 20. Bonucci is a known player since 2010. Marchisio since around 2009. For better CBs we could target see my previous posts
-
Bullshit rumour, not what we need, but if he would sign I would welcome him with open arms!
-
Well, will we know if Marquinhos wants to come if we won't bid for him? Not quite, trying has never hurt anyone. Yes, Koulibaly could turn out just like Mangala, there is no certainty in football, but then I would have to argue that Rudiger has even a better chance to turn even worse than Mangala. Just look at the first half of this season. Bailly is more of a personal preference, and I would say that defensively is the better player, considering that Rudiger never seem to fully commit in his tackles. Rudiger is in no way, shape, form, figment of the imagination, on par with Umtiti. Again, Rudiger chances to fail are even more ample if we take in consideration the first half of the season at Roma. Koulibaly and Umtiti would fit us more, it's what we need considering we can't attract the "world class" CB, they're not quite WC yet, but the step to become just that is way shorter than what Rudiger would need. How do we know this is one of Conte's targets? I sure hope he is otherwise we're screwed.
-
While not WC, there's a good amount of options we can go after and are better than Rudiger. Koulibaly/Bailly/Umtiti and bid for Marquinhos finally Is it me or is the forum's background white now?

A good tecnica I feel like I'm on shrooms, not used to him talking in english.

http://www.transfermarkt.com/kwadwo-asamoah/verletzungen/spieler/63531 More or less he's been injured since November 2014. I would love him here if the injury issue can be sorted out.
