I honestly think this Ballon d’Or hype for Kante is crazy, he played very well in some key moments under Tuchel and huge reason for CL. He was not at his best under Lampard and so far in the Euros he has been subpar. Pogba his teammate is out performing him, freaking Renato Sanches bossed the midfield against him. would love for Chelsea player to win the award, and Kante seems like a incredible person. I hope he wins, but no I don’t think he is the best player or had the best season.

If he can regain his form and stay healthy he will be immense addition to our midfield. We need a player like him. it is a gamble given his trajectory, but what is the downside?

As I said a month ago don’t expect much this transfer window, we made enormous amount of investment in 2020. Werner, Havertz, Ziyech, and Pulisic can give much more.

Don’t think Hakimi is good, I have expressed this from the get go. He will be very ordinary in the the PL against much better athletes, so hoping he goes to PSG. We also saw Alonso and Moses go through a purple patch under Conte, again I wouldn’t touch him.

Cahill was much better than Alex; I think with GC it is a personality thing, he will not be a beloved figure despite his performances and accomplishment at the club.

Are you kidding me? sell Jorginho after winning the CL, where he had many top performances in our run to Champions of Europe.

Jorginho is currently one of our best players, you just need to accept it. Our limitations and weaknesses has nothing to do with our holding midfielder.

Real is struggling financially at the moment also. But they remain the most desired choice for many top players.

Only Real Madrid and Barcelona signs whoever they want. Only two clubs in the world that is virtually every top player top choice, everyone else is circumstantial. Our chances are good as anyone after them. Nothing depressing. Havertz and Werner had other top offers, Lampard played a huge part. If all this is true or not, no way of truly knowing.

From what I remember watching Hakimi he was not anything impressive at Dortmund. Feel like he is inflated just like Moses and Alonso were during Conte first year at Chelsea. Regardless that is a lot of money for a limited player. If the next coach doesn’t play 3-4-3, he basically becomes a useless player on the squad.

I don’t understand why you guys think we will invest heavy on attack. We will play with a back 5 again, Jorginho/ Kovavcic, Kante, and Mount are guaranteed starters. So basically Pulisic, Havertz, Werner, Ziyech, and everyone else are fighting for 2 spots. It is going to be a very boring summer transfer window.

Pulisic has had his moments for sure, but let’s be honest if those three perform to the level we invested in them we wouldn’t be talking about Sancho, Haaland or other attackers.

If Conte went to United, they would incredibly get better. Spuds? Lol, imagine worrying about them.

What is point of Haaland, when our recent signing like Pulisic, Havertz, and Werner all underperformed after coming from that league. Only player I would be interested from that league is Lewandoski.

Why guys so high on Haaland? We already have 3 underperforming former Bundesliga stars, personally don’t have the stomach for another one.

I think you guys need to prepare yourselves for a quite transfer window. I anticipate minor signing there and there.

It will be interesting what we do, one of the reason I am skeptical we make big moves is because we have a big squad and many of our expensive signing recently are underperforming. Werner, Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech. I think they will be hesitant to spend big, they will give these guys another year to prove themselves.

He is not good enough for a top tier team in the PL, it is evidently clear. It showed at United, you are just throwing your money away.

I was one of the few here who wanted Tuchel before Lamps was sacked and advocated that he was a good manager. He is leaving a lot points on the table since the international break against weaker sides. I would like him to be a bit braver.

Which he did at PSG, basically the same. Play it safe, keep the ball, give to Neymar and Mbappe so they can do their magic.

This system is doable against more open sides, but will struggle against teams who are playing deep. Our attack is nowhere near sharp enough to get away with it. I guess when you have Mbappe and Neymar you could get away with such lazy tactics.

Forget United, I am not sure what exactly is UEFA plan for CL In 2024 and beyond. Let’s use Chelsea for example say we finish 6th this season and west Ham finish 4th. Under the current rules West Ham would qualify. But what I am suggesting is still fair and appease big clubs. Is that Chelsea should qualify because they finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th previous seasons, which is on average much higher than West Ham finishes. That is the point I am trying to get across, there are other ways to decide CL qualifications.
