I think his endurance should getter as he get more accustomed to more playing time. But he is a big guy, endurance will be something he will always struggle with.

Lol, were you not aware how aggressively some of us were against signing Lukaku? It was obvious from the start this was going to happen. I think Traore would be a good signing, I don’t know why people are so aggressively against him.

Did I miss something or has the international break made some of us forget how dire our attacking options have been. I mean Tuchel brought Barkley in the last game, there will be an opportunity for Pulisic.

He is a freaking Jets fan, as a PA raised boy myself that is so weird and random. Outside of the Eagles and Steelers, there is a lot of Ravens or Washington football team fans. I can’t recall a single Jets fans growing up 30 minutes from Hershey. https://www.nbcsports.com/video/christian-pulisic-joins-kyle-martino-Chelsea-training-ground

As usual getting exposed when not in Tuchel system.

Completely different, which American owners is this interlocked with their government? City and PSG owners are practically backed by their government or businesses associated with their government.
-
Yay another foreign state sponsored ownership, but even much more wealthier than PSG and City.

I thought him bringing on Barkley was quite telling, and IMO quite condemning of his ability to fix our attack. The fact he brought a player that has hardly played and he does not rate says he is out of idea how to get more out of the players that he has played regularly since getting the job. Made substitutions with similar players, unwilling to move past his 5 set defenders in a game. Bringing Barkley in was a shot in the dark, praying something sticks.

I think Tuchel is a better manager by a good margin. But there is some serious concerns from an attacking standpoint. Give Klopp and Pep the likes of Ziyech, Mount, Havertz, Pulisic, Werner, Odoi, etc they would play much better. I like Tuchel and really hope he turns it around, but that is the challenge get more out of them. Because players like Neymar, Mbappe, and Messi are not walking into the door.

Lukaku has stated numerous times that he was set on staying at Inter, but Tuchel convinced and wanted him at Chelsea. Maybe he wasn’t his first choice, but it is clear that Tuchel wanted him.
-
Unfortunately for the first time I see the potential downfall of Tuchel at Chelsea. Every manager has bad results obviously, but I see systemic issues I don’t know if he can overcome. Last season we were great combination of technical and physical ability, this team has lost that due to Lukaku, Alonso, and Azpi as a WB.

There is no point arguing with OneMoSalah regarding RLC, he has been shitting on him for years. You could talk to a wall and have a more sane conversation. Saul is not a Chelsea player and has been underperforming for years. Many Barca and Madrid fans have stated he is extremely overrated and living off of his goal against Bayern. I am willing to give him a few more opportunities to see what he can do. But time is ticking to invest in a player you don’t own. RLC is performing as Tuchel has said, he has earned those minutes based on his play. I don’t know why the opinion on RLC is so extreme, guys there is a middle ground between being a regular and never playing. Right now RLC is contributing positively, and is being rewarded with more playing time. Simple as that, and by the end of season you could sell him for a higher fee if the clubs sees it that way.

This may be harsh, but what is the point of Azpi as a WB against quality teams? He is suspect against any decent winger/ wide forward, at the slightest pressure hoofs the ball to the opposition.
-
I have proposed this question a few weeks ago, in light of how much criticism our attacking players get. Are they bad or Tuchel system is the issue. He has gotten a lot of credit for our defensive players and how much they improved, but which attacking player has benefited since he was appointed?
-
I say breaking City press and moving the ball forward was a big deal, which none of our midfielder did in this game.
-
Players like Alonso and Azpi are just completely outclassed, with the slightest pressure they can’t maintain the ball resorting to long balls to the opposition. Cancelo absolutely tear us a new one.
-
With Lukaku on the pitch it is like playing with 10 men.
-
Some posters here have shitted on RLC for a long time, it kills them that he had a good game and won’t change their tones. Obviously guys like Jorginho, Kante, and Kovacic are clear of him. He had a good game, there is really nothing to say beside that.
-
Obviously Mendy is far better, I think Kepa will be fine in Mendy absence in January. As long as our defense plays to their usual standard.
-
Werner problem is finishing though, is not out of position, runs, or anything for that matter beside converting his chances. I would give him run of games though, not like Mount or Havertz are playing well.
-
Actually we are struggling in midfield this season. Lukaku stays high on the pitch, teams are packing the middle even more. Which attacker actually provides creativity? zenit actually forced us to play out wide and again packed the middle.
-
How would they fit the Euros and Copa America in all this?
-
I feel Kovacic is one of our best players, and our attackers options are slumping. Tuchel needs to have Jorginho, Kante, and Kovacic on the pitch at the same time.
-
With Lukaku I think 3-5-2 is a better option. Since he plays high up the pitch, and you are outnumbered in midfield.
-
Has Neuer fallen off? idk If anyone is better than Mendy as a pure GK, but guys like Ederson, Alisson, and Ter Stegen are very valuable for their ability on the ball. i wouldn’t take Oblak or Courtois over Mendy.
