While I do think we could take it further and upgrade a few of our 1st team I totally agree with you about this. With Mou buing undoubtedly one of the best footballing minds of his generation he has got to know this is a big problem for us. I love Mou and he is about the only manger I would want with us but theres got to be a problem behind the scenes and its got me worried.

I've got the dulcid tones to make men cry and give children nightmares! The only times you get songs out of me is at the footy or if my mates bands playing and after several hours drinking much alcohol I get up and do my version of Dylans Maggies Farm. And we have 1 great young lad just begging to step up and take his part which unless we are very careful hes going to start having to look out for himself needing regular playing time. As me old mate Mick says "You can't always get what you want, You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you find, you get what you need!" I just hope Mou realises we do need help in our midfield and he bloomin well does summet about it. With the 2 lads we have been 'linked' with being great to give us that help we need and neither would break the bank if thats what our problem is then I don't understand what we are waiting for.

I'm not kissing his arse tho, What I do think is he showed promise. And at least he LOOKED like he WANTED to be on the pitch.

I really wish the lad would put some weight on. I tell ya I was worried about him last season. When he hot back from the WC he looked ok. There was color in his cheeks, Then he became grey, His cheeks went in and his kit was baggy on him. Cahill also looked very similar and hes a fit lad. Then there was all that talk about him having some unmentioned illness. Just hope hes ok now cause hes a good lad. He loved us. The Club, all the team, us supporters. He was proud to be Blue. Why the fuck we get shot of him and keep Salah and get Cuadrado? One of Mous strange ones.

With him being a nippy bugga and IMHO offers more upfield defensively thann offensively. (Altho yes he does have great moments) it might just be worth putting him next to Matic and Cescy. Thats what the preseason is for. experimenting. I hope the lad does have his best season cause not one of us want him to fail. not if they support Chelsea. We dont want any of the lads to it just that a couple just arent at the standard we really need them to be at.

What would it matter if we had 3 strikers starting if they dont get given the ball? Both the lads Falcao and Costa both made good runs last night but never got given the ball. Cescy is the ONLY creative MF we have and when hes got no room he cant do owt. And you must agree Mikel just doesnt contribute sod all.

If people watching didn't see we have problems last night there must have been a different game on my telly. Moses has only got you lot because he scored the equalizer. He was ok for hist first five minutes then was back to normal. Peeps on forums tend to call players amazing or losers after 1 or 2 games. OK There MIGHT be a chance hes better than Cuadrado but thats not saying much is it. Our best hope is Falcao. He showed promise. As well as he LOOKED like he wanted to win unlike many. Theres ONLY Cescy with any creativity to get balls to them and It's imperative for us to sign Aranguiz and or Witsel. They can both hold the ball and give Cescy the space hes not got now. Plus theyre both fast when we need them to be. Its not like they would cost alot and if Mou cant see that we desperatly need help they would give us he needs his bumps felt.

Hes been kicked the fuck out of for the past year or so and his confidence must have been rock bottom. Torres didnt get nothing compared to what Falcaos had. So I think he did bloody good. Once he gets to hopefully gel with the rest of the lads and he gets training to get him proper match fit (we know hes being trained alot right now dont we) he will be kushdy.

I think we are more likely to get him than anyone up front wise aren't we? He's one of Mous blue eyed boys who knows his place and doesn't rock the boat. I'm all for getting Stones. Hes a good mixture of what we need and with his passing and speed it will suit our style of play. Specially if we stick Zouma with him But yes theres a list of good young CBs out there. Laporte, Marquinhos, Sakho,Mateo Musacchio, Balanta, Dória, Semih Kaya, Inigo Martinez.

Well if tonight proved nothing else we need to get shot of Mikel because that just didn't work did it? We need either Witsel and/or Aranguiz. Cahill too because JT/Zouma worked again as it has before. Even if we just get a CN/LB/CM and preferably a RM or CAM we might just be ok. It wouldnt mean spending a bloody fortune but theyre players that we very much need. I was pleasantly suprized about Moses tho and Im glad Falcao showed potential.

But as theres no cat in hells chance we getting Varane Id like to see him and Zouma together. Cahill should be out IMHO so IF Stones comes Id like yo see a PROPER rotation. Im not sure if it would be best to have a Zouma + JT pair and a Cahill + Stones pair or a Cahill/Zouma and Zouma/Stones. Then next season just have Stones/Zouma as starters. Theyre both fast, great on the ball, very chilled Stones has a high pass rate, He might not be the most physical but I think his brains and Zoumas brawn would compliment each other just as Cahill and JTs has. But its definitely time to look at 3 of our back 4
