I get to a few of the CAMRA Beer festivals and love it. For the first couple of days I just take a 1/2 pint glass and go thru the list trying as many as I can. then once youve found a new one you really like you can have a proper drink of it. When I first started going to them there was alot of fuzzy beards with Aran sweaters smoking pipes and nerdy government office workers but now there seems to be alot more normal type lads going. What I am proud of is I just opened my first bottle of my first homebrew! I did a turbo STRAWBERRY cider I got off Youtube. I tell ya its gorgeous. I tested it at 9% but it doesnt taste strong at all. Tastes just like strawberry. Just made it with a few boxes of apple juice and a bottle of strawberry Ribena cordial. Dirt cheap. I dont know why I didnt do it earlier but it definitely wont be my last.

I cant say much good about today but it seems if we speak negatively about the lads we are pessimistic. All I see is people not trying to make excuses for a team that I dont know why the majority of them even turned up. If even Mou cant get the best out of them then theres problems. Not just the obvious ones that get mentioned a thousand times a day but WTF is up with Hazard and Cescy? Our 2 most creative guys that looked brain dead for most of the time. Hazards wondered around like a lost soul so far apart from the final 10 mins. Its going to take weeks for us to get to a state to play anywhere near what we can, if we do at all. Right now Im just hoping we make Europe next season. What I would dearly love to be is a fly on the wall following Mou around and listening to what he truly feels and not just the BS he throws out to the supporters and the media. One good thing from the day is Ive just cracked opened my first homebrew turbo of STRAWBERRY cider and its bloody gorgeous!! Only followed a Youtube recipe made with Strawberry Ribena cordial. Ended up @ 9%! I was thinking about sending Eden a few bottles. I need a few to chill out tonight so Slante guys!

I woke up this morning (no its not gonna be a Blues song) and realized all is well in Ujs small corner of the world. I'm not skint, I got my heath, the love of a good woman and follow the best team in the land. And altho I cant say I'm happy with us right now and I'm scared Ive decided to go today with a fresh start. We are going to go out today and show the PL just what we are made so when the rest of the shitbags play us theyre going to rue the day! COYB!!

I would have clicked the 'Like This' box but I dont agree with the "I am very happy with our squad" part. I would happily upgrade 4 of our 1st team if at all possible. And our depth is awful.

The way I see it is I wouldn't want any other manager behind us. Yeah OK right now I'm not chuffed about how things are but its because I put Mou up on a pedestal and I'm just not used to having bad thoughts about him. The way his mind works theres got to be some meaning to his madness, Just right now Ive got no fuckin clue what hes playing at. All we can do is guess. But if we fuck up this season I cant imagine him doing it 2 in a row which means next year the world is ours. And if it means we go through a cycle like that while hes with us I could live with it. Mate I know exactly what you mean. Ive had it in the neck for drinking it even in Dublin!!! Drinking is just part of my lifestyle. But even tho Im in the pub/bar most days from lunch then normally a club till 4/5am and drinking steadily I rarely get drunk unless its a proper sesh. Im sure you know the sort of thing I mean. So even tho Ive never woke up feeling Ive got to have a drink the 1st one of the day is sometimes hard to get down and doesn't touch the sides so its good to have something that tastes nice. But if I'm somewhere that I can sit and have a spliff (openly) then I would much rather do that.

Co Spot on. Confidence is catching and so is unconfidence. Like I said when Mou came back every single one of us was happy. The last 2 years Ive felt for most of it unbeatable. From the players to the stands we felt strong. Then starting from Jan time and the more defensive playing the confidence waned even tho we still was winning. It didn't matter we were points ahead the confidence was slipping. If we had gone into the transfer season with Mou saying look we got a great side but we need to strengthen a,b,c and he went out and got whoever it was that he thought we needed we would have gone into pre season buzzing. But he didn't.

Yes I know what you mean. The girls down my local are great. They love thinking up different artwork for the heads and each has their particular one. Theres the 4 card suits, a cresent moon, a 3 hearted flower, a star, a pentagram and then of course when theyre in a cheeky mood they do a guys man bits haha. They also do a gorgeous Gunness brownie and Guinness ice cream. Soon be going down there so sláinte!

If youre worried about peer pressure and it scares you looking like a girlie then drink a couple of these. You wont gain weight as you wont drink many of them as a beginner Me I dont care WTF anyone thinks about me being a confident person with no ego. I must admit that all my locals dread seeing me walk thru the door. My first drink whenever I go out is a Guinness shandy. Its got to be the hardest drink in the world to pour.It always froths up and overflows like some erupting volcano. Specially if you put the draught Guinness in first and the lemonade on top. But if you put the lemonade in first then the Guinness it lays on top of the lemonade and then when you try to mix it you get Vesuvius.

So instead of buying specialists thats trained for a certain position all their lives we go for Swiss army knives. A small blade that works ok. A Jack of all trades and a master of none! I'm all for a AM that switches L to R or a LB that goes to RB it keeps opponents on their toes but an attacker we play as a defender is daft.

Im not a big top shelf drinker unless its mixed. But a brandy always goes down well and the only spirit I can take 2 glugs out of the bottle of is Jim Beam, Yet I dont like JD. But a great drink is Sake. A couple of flasks of warm Sake goes down a treat and you dont even know youve had a drink till you stand up.

Nah, the last 2 seasons I was on such a high I bet on us every week no matter who we played. Last year there was a feeling in the stands that was electric till Xmas time and everyone felt like we ruled the world. There wasn't a bit of skepticism. All the guys I know that follow us are all feeling different scales of pessimism this season and I dont feel confident of beating Swansea.

Then just MAYBE our amazing medical department should have looked at it a little bit closer before we bought him. Or maybe us getting 1 PL out of him might have been worth it. hard to say..
