You really would have thought after the implode last year that all the staffing issues would be sorted nice n swift. I keep hoping we got a manager that realizes just how bad it is back there. I think the lad kinda represents the masjority of our youth. Hes got some good skills but you cant compare them to a seasoned complete player. Yes our kids are bloody good and compared to most of the other academys theyre up with the best. But you put one next to a seasoned player and its boys to men.. They need time in lower leagues and getting wexperience being kicked about by guys bigger than them before hopefully they become of use to us and we bring them back. Well thats what would happen in a perfect world. There will always be the odd one that stands out and is obviously 1st team material but 9 times out of 10 I would give that spot to a complete player. Lets hope this kid gets the experience he/we need.

You know what. There was a time I'd have had a part in me pants to have a trio of Happy/Varane and Pog but I might be in a minority but honestly think we did a much better thing in buying N'Golo. Shit man. Think about it. We got N'Golo for about a quarter of what Pog cost. And I might be wrong but to me Pog seems like RLC. Slow and akward at times And apparently from reports Ive seen his salary is £800,000 a week! Blimey! ooking at the last few posts I thought I was on Christensens thread! Ive always liked Traore and athink that year at Vitesse did him the world of good. Sweapping him from RM to ST seems to be the right thing for him. After seeing him score 5 mins after coming on last season I know alot of us thought we were onto summet good but he did fuck up on his 1st touches sometimes. The kids only 20 and I dont think hes quite a starter yet but he certainly deserves some rota time and with us hopefully using 2 strikers then he should be getting some regularly. I reckon the lads going to be a goodun and I hope our management treat him good with a nice set of golden handcuffs..

Cuadrado => Willian These loans have done him the world of good. A session at a winning club that has buily up his confidence where the supporters and club love him. WILL a goal or 2 change him? Matic is a shell of 2012. Is he fast enough for a Conte formation? I love Cescy but he is slow and not a good defender. He's been inconsistent this pree season. Good one match then nothing. He needs room and time to see the game proper. A CM of Nath/Kant/Cescy might be perfect. Oscars had some good moments pre season but is it enough to keep him? Conte will have been impressed by his running around so I can see him staying on. Main problem is - yes! - Defence! Ola is ok but not to Chelsea quality yet. OK for a bench warmer tho. JT/Cahil just haven't got the legs or lungs for a Conte side now and Iva was gasping within 10 mins of coming on. All 3 need to go. So it leaves us with Dave and a not yet fit Happy. I know its very early and this last couple of weeks will be the 1st Contes heard on Nath but I'm sure he's rubbing his hands to find a great young player. And to see how well he's working with N'Golo will get him smiling. But at the same time you Know Conte will be worried about our lack of creativity at times. Cescy, not being the fastest, is always better given time and space to do his stuff so keeping him in deep pocket is his place. But N'Golo last night in that 4-1-4-1 he played great. So theres got to be some formation we can use those 3 and keep 2 up front.
