So youre happy with our manager not being in charge of or at least having a veto as far as transfers go? It leads to spending £30 odd million on players that keep the bench warm because the manager has no faith in his playing ability. He has at least earened the right to be given that chance to fuck up by himself. Who knows, IF Mou was given the chance to bring in players the summer after we won (which is the sensible thing to do after a winning season) then things might just have turned out alot different I am only surmising that Mou wasn't allowed transfers. I think that was pretty clear from soon after season opened. He seems yo have been put into several positions and is starting to get some sort of an act together. I'm in no doubt tjay we jave 1 hellova accademy and the TEAMs prove they are at the best at their levels. So you would assume that theres at least a couple of outstanding lads with potential of playing in the top clubs. While we cant just bring anyone from the youths into the 1st it doesn't stop other clubs wanting to buy them does it? Even the ones we put om loan yes they end up with playing careers, fine, but why dont they attract interest from the big teams. This isn't just a Chelsea thing it seems its British clubs in general. I'm normally a believer in people finding their own level in life amd not hust players. So is it because our youth do find their playing levels or is there a problem in UK academy coaching?
