Its very difficult to do that with us having so many supposedly 'with potential' I'm sure that Conte has brought into the 1st team squad many more than any of our managers, OK Theyve not seen much playing time and I do think they could of had more but just training alongside our lads and getting the atmosphere of the game from benchside will help them alot for when they do get their chances to shine.

I know exactly what you man but I think you miss my point a little. Say youre an airbrush sprayer working at Harrys garrage and youre really good and you have some big clients but Harry goes bankrupt so you have to get a job doing the same thing. You get a job in the next town at ABC motors. All your old clients ould still bring you their business because you are so good. Now when our lads go get a job at another club they should be able to replicate what they did in iur yourh teams by right. But many dont do they for whatever reason. I'm wondering if its because the TEAMS are so good as a unit. They all know each other well and have gelled perfectly. So they dont have that at their new jobs.

I understand that they dont get to our 1st team. But even when they get loaned out or play for another club the seem to fail to shine. Can you name 1 that has made a good name for himself for more than 1 season?

Its all well and good us lot WANTING top players but our problem is and to an extent always has been, that we just dont attract them. But at the same time we dont know unless we try. But we seem to be able sometims to buy good players for £30+mill. But theyre very few and far between. I'd sell our board and transfer team but who ould buy them?

As if we dont have enough things that need sorting eh. Whats another one going to make any difference lol None of these things we are all talking about will make a blind bit of difference until the managers job is sorted. We dont know what sort of formation he mainly uses, player types he likes - nothing. All we can hope is him and our luvly board manage somehow to work together to out a team together and make a effort next season. Alot of luck and money is needed.

That is a very good point and the reason I think why our youth teams are so good. Theyve grown up together since they were very young. But its a very hard thing to do if you want to win trophies and have a owner who demands it. IF we was a mid table club with no expectations we could bring in youth,experiment with players,formations etc. Give players a chance to gell together. But you see our 'supporters' here for instance. Half moan like fuck for using the same players and the other half moan like fuck if we use any form of rotation!! A manager just cant win.

He looks ok from the reports Ive read. 21, scoread a few and couple of assists. And as he is now a PL player he 's another 'with potential' I'm turning into a bit of a name snoob I've found like others on here. Not thinking that anyones good enough for us unless they cost a dortune and is a household name. And as theyve USUALLY earned that right to cost a fortune I do think that theres good players in lower divisions who can make the grade with us. But its that gamble again. And I think right now we need to look at players who can jump right unto the team if you get me. Once we get a strong core together then we can look at bringing in 'potential' How i see it anyway.
