The Sarri talks with his club were always going to happen so I dont see anything newsworthy. His contract is up on the 22nd isn't it? So it was time for talks to happen. Whether us needing a manager has helped his negotiating who knows. Whatever manager we get in it will mean a big change in style/formations again so does it really matter who comes? We will still not have the players of a standard to play at top level! So it could be Conte, ZZ or some manager from Forest green rovers, We NEED better players.

Eded is basically telling the guys he works with they arent good enough for him to work with. How would you feel if you was one of them? I'd be pissed wouldn't you? No matter how frustrated he felt or how much we all agree theres ways to say things eh. But they both want the same thing - maybe for different reasons, but just hope they get their wish. Conte might have gone on but you know what those pre/post game interviews are like. They want blood when they smell it in the water, so they ask the questions, he answers them. But we have mo idea WHAT the process is. Hes said many times he only gives his opinions WHEN hes asked for them. And if he was the only one of our managers to have had this problem I;d be all over him too. But we have got a bad record of it. I remember the 2nd time Mou came and a report about his contract stating he wouldn't have anything to do with players coming or going. This just has to be one of our prioritis that needs sorting. I'm wondering if our next manager will contact any of our old ones for ideas on how the board operates. Or has a solicitor to go tru his contract? I know if I was coming for an interview and seen the headlines, heard the gossip etc I sure would be on the phone to Conte/Mou asking them what went wrong/ Its enough to put any good manager off.
