Now I'm wondering IF they would progress better if they spent a season or 2 with the 1st team, similar to what Conte has done with some and Mou did with Happy. Let them get some minutes here n there (Admittedly a bit more than Conte has given them). Do it gradually so they are still around 'their home'. Thats my thought anyway.

What we have seen for a very long time is we lack any real creativity. We desperately need a partner for Kante. A Lamps clone. Whether in a 2 or 3 man CM with Baks. Someone that can go B2B, technical, good footballing brain, able to create attacks and can give us goals and assists. A faster version of Cescy. I'm also of a mind that I wouldnt mind losing Eden. Look. I do know how good he is WHEN HE IS ON!!! But this isn;t the only season hes gone missing in games. IF he could turn in even a half decent game more often then I wouldn't mind. I feel the same We havent been that tight fisted really. Its just we buy alot of box standard players instead of 1st class.But we dont (never have) attract those players. But we know that with the grond being built we will not be spending £200 mill a year on players. So its even more important we get a GOOD transfer team/scouts and have them working hand in glove with whatever manager we get. Or it will be another managerial revolcing door.

Have to remember we had Costa/Cescy come when we didnt have CL. Its all down to the individual and how we approach them. If we goto them early and make them feel we really need them and want to make them an important piece of our rebuild. I know I'd like to be part of something where I fel important and wanted/ We NEVER have been a club that attracts the 'A List' player. Unless it was when we ere winning for fun and being televised so the young players of that time grew up wanting to be Drogs,Lamps etc, Its all down to our Scouts,board,football director etc. Its them we need to transfer IMHO.

I know Ive said it before but I dont understand how great our academy teams are yet as undividuals dont make it after leaving the comfort zone of the team. MAYBE its because alot of our youth lads have been together since they were 8 years old or so and they know each others moves inside out. Or whether we (Jody Morris and other academy coachs) have got the teams training as a unit but they dont work on individual skills? I really dont have a Scooby. I know we all wish our academy could be our poind shop where we could just go load up our shopping trolley and put them straight into the 1st team but it really isn't as simple as that. I dont think ANY manager we wull ever have would last long in their job if they did try it. The ones we cherry pick now fin it hard enough to make that next step. And it diesn't matter what club they goto if its not us they still dont seem to shine oyt as individuals. So iI completely understand how we all feel so cobfused. It would be great to know the answer tho. But this young lad looks very good. I hope he does get a chance to shine with the 1st team.
