That may be all well and good for some team that doesn't have the sort of and size of academy that we have but it would mean us having to fuck a load of youths off and cutting down on the numbers of kids we take in if we can't loan them out to get them seen by other clubs,agents etc. Cause we cant just keep them on the books and we cant put them all into the 1st team We would have to let them all go on frees after awhile if they don't get loaned. Which we do often now That isn't going to help the lads that go thru our system who do go on to become players with clubs at various levels. I'm surprised we don't have more players like Boga that refuse to carry on with being loaned so out goes a lad who once was hyped to have a very promising career and goes off to the likes of Sassuolo But then I look at it with someones eyes who don't like us I can see their point a bit It may make us look seriously at just what career path we have for our kids with more potential instead of loaning them somewhere they will probably end up sitting on the bench there instead of our bench. With 40 players out on loan we would need a bloody great big bench.

I'd like to see us bring back a few of our old lads to take a multi functional group job. Be combined coaches,DOF,scouts, youth development,moral givers etc etc. But I can imagine JT may also be a bit Jell'd right now seeing Lamps doing more career wise than him. Must be a very difficult thing to deal with when to hang up the boots and whats next.

Like you say we won't have any leverage if he plays us down to the wire. You know I'm all for Barkles trying out RW and he would probably work well but I just dont know Sarris thoughts very well as tho he historically used players in different positions at Napoli he doesn't seem willing to try that here yet. Or open to much rotation. So maybe your ideas (tho are OK to me) might not come about. Well obviously theres no point in having a crest we can't trademark. And Ive never really liked having the footballs on it neither. And I think the lion in our current one is too simplistic. I like the more prominent fur,talons etc And I like the idea of keeping the blue, white, gold, and red colors as they all stand for somethibg. Red - Strength/Energy/Passion, Gold/yellow - positivity, Blue - Loyalty/trust, White - faith,purity
