  1. Thought this also. He spoke very well.
  2. I'm genuinely quite concerned about this. He seems to be getting booked almost every time he goes out on the pitch, so to go until QPR without a yellow looks like it could be a stretch.
  3. Le 10 Sport in France reporting that Pogba will be joining PSG from next season.
  4. Spot on. Oscar doesn't have a specific quality skill that he is especially proficient in which he can turn towards to spark his game into life. If he's having a shocker at 30 mins or so, it's generally all over, Newcastle tap-in being a lucky exception. Hopefully this is something that will come with time, but there's no promise being shown in that regard at the moment unfortunately, and the time I speak of is running out.
  5. No shit Ramires has done more for us, because he's 3 and a half years older and has been here for 2 years longer! And please do enlighten me as to who exactly was 'disrespecting' Ramires?
  6. Love this guy. Ripper player, great team man, his teammates love him too. Honestly think he would die for Chelsea.
  7. This. Don't think we should read too much in to Thibaut's demeanor pre or post match yesterday. I can understand the feeling of some that he should do more to show his happiness for the team, but anyone who has been left out of a team before will know what a downright awful feeling it is - and as hard as you may try not to show it, it's only natural to be disappointed. Deep down I'm sure he's delighted anyway (even if he doesn't show it). After all, he doesn't show a lot of emotion or expression at the best of times. As for his relationship with Petr, they have a competitive rivalry (as we want them to), but they have the utmost respect for eachother. They learn off eachother and feed off eachother every day and every training session, and there's no angst between them whatsoever as far as I'm concerned.
  8. So proud of our team, haven't taken my Chelsea shirt off since the game - yes I slept in it! Can't remember still having that amazing winning feeling for so long after a game for ages, still buzzing almost a full day on.
  9. They even got the scoreline wrong in the photo caption
  10. Absolute living legend. If there was anyone that I would have loved to have seen score yesterday (probably besides Didier), then it was JT. What a man!
  11. So happy to see him involved in the celebrations, as he should have been.
  12. Watched West Ham against Palace on Saturday and they were pretty woeful defensively, however I still believe they pose a big attacking threat and will obviously be fired up against us as all teams are. I think we can feed off yesterday's final win though to grab a win here. Courtois Ivanovic Cahill Terry Luis Fabregas Zouma Willian Oscar Hazard Costa Subs: Cech, Ake, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Cuadrado, Drogba, Remy.
  13. FUCK YES! Thank you Scousers!!!!! 5 clear with a game in hand, get in there!
  14. If Frank scores the winner....I don't even know what will happen.
  15. Kompany looking more incompetent than usual today, hopefully Liverpool can exploit him. Mignolet making me very nervous though...
  16. Mikel 100% ruled out, he's had surgery on his knee and will miss another 4-5 weeks.
  17. Mikel's manager has today stated that he had surgery on his troublesome knee three days ago and is now set to miss another 4-5 weeks. "Mikel underwent surgery three days back. He is going to be out of action for about a month, maybe five weeks." http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/427874/Chelsea-ROCKED-midfielder-month-sidelines
  18. This morning I spoke with a friend who doesn't know a thing about football, yet somehow the conversation moved onto Sunday's League Cup Final. I had initially said that I wasn't very confident about Chelsea's chances for the game, but when my friend asked "why?" I found myself only being able to come up with a bit of poor form (Spurs' form isn't great either) and Matic's suspension as the logical reasons for our potential downfall on the weekend. At that point I told myself to lighten up and get excited - we've got an awesome opportunity to claim our first piece of silverware for a couple of years, and I've got the faith in our players that they will give it a red hot crack. Because if nothing else, I know our boys will give it their all on the pitch - I keep thinking of JT throwing his face into the line of fire against Arsenal in the 2007 League Cup Final as a prime example of this. UP THE CHELS!
  19. Think we have to understand two aspects of our last month and a half. 1. Players getting injured and suspended more than earlier in the season. (Therefore we don't have some of our best players in Cesc, Diego etc.) 2. Because of this, players such as Oscar, Willian, Ramires and Hazard (due to Cesc absence), Azpilicueta and Ivanovic (due to Luis absence) and Matic (due to Mikel absence) have had to play more football than had been expected/scheduled for them and have been extremely fatigued. Jose would know a week or two before each game roughly the team he plans to play, so when someone goes down with an injury you end up having to play a guy who you were planning on giving a rest to and it throws their workload schedule out of whack.
  20. Played a fantastic game yesterday, by far his best in a Chelsea shirt. Put in some great tackles and was useful going forward. That ball into Cuadrado early on was mesmerising!
  21. Wasn't great yesterday, but a few times he made a good run and the pass just wasn't there for him. Really encouraging to see the understanding he has already built with Hazard, and I'm sure it will come with the other AMs. Hopefully when he becomes more comfortable he'll start taking a few more defenders on!
  22. This. We had ample opportunities between HT and Matic's red to go 2 or 3 up and didn't.
  23. I don't really understand the knocking of Oscar's performance yesterday, I actually thought he was quite good. He made some important contributions going forward, especially in the first half. His second half was poor, but it was his first full game back from injury so he was bound to drop off. His ball control on first touch was well above his normal standard, and he gave the ball away no more than Hazard and Luis who were our two best on the day.
  24. Yeah that's what he means. Great response I reckon haha!
  25. Jose: 'I am happy that I am not stupid. I understood everything a couple of months ago.' #CFC
