I think we all know that Willian desperately lacks that final product both when passing and shooting, and until he gets that he isn't going to be given quite the credit that other players get. I'm not really a big fan of Willian, but I have a huge amount of respect for the way he was able to turn his performance around on Tuesday. That's something that a lot of our players and the team as a whole can't do. If they're having a shocker, they can't seem to steel themselves and turn it around, but he did it fantastically against Liverpool and good on him for it. Similarly, when he does fuck us up going forward, he often goes and wins the ball back again to start another attack, and this persistence is a very good trait.

It would have last season, but the FA changed the amnesty date for yellow card accumulations at the start of this season to make it December 31 instead of February 28, so he now has to get to 10 to be suspended.

We all know Kurt is very raw, but there's so much potential there and that's really promising for the future. He is an outstanding athlete - his almost supernatural leap and blistering speed can attest to this - but I am perhaps more impressed by the head he seems to have on his shoulders; he speaks extremely well for someone so young whose first language is not English. I watched his post-match interview from last night on the Chelsea website, and he spoke really impressively about how he treated it as "just another game" instead of the cut-throat sudden death match that it was. He didn't seem at all overawed by the situation and for a 20 year old that's massively admirable and you could see the joy on his face after the final whistle, top stuff. Couple this with his actions in defeat on the weekend also (being the only player to acknowledge our fans despite being visibly distraught at the loss), he makes for one seriously impressive character. Keep it up Kurt!

We saw it at Newcastle with Cisse's burst, a quick run from Tottenham and conceding 4 in a row today. - The goal before HT is not so bad, but the fact that when Bradford came at us hard after the break, we couldn't wrestle back momentum and ended up conceding 3 thereafter...
