  1. Delighted with this. Welcome to Chelsea Asmir!
  2. Very good loan move for MVG, hope it goes through.
  3. Will probably depend on the opponent as with last season.
  4. I was thinking that also. Although I wonder if the fact that there's no sponsor on the front makes the seam look a bit higher than it actually is?
  5. That's a product of his ever-reliability and the way he just steadily goes about his business without much fuss. Love him.
  6. Didn't see the game, what happened between them?
  7. Transfer confirmed. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/06/kakuta-to-join-sevilla.html
  8. If I can be so irrational as to speak about what happened on the pitch tonight rather than carry on about rubbish rumours that are quite simply made up: I thought Diego looked like a completely different player tonight. He was moving just about the best I've seen him since he joined us, and made a couple of fantastic runs through the defence. He looked lively, agile and 'free'. It was almost as if he for once didn't care about picking a fight or getting picked out by the perfect pass, he just thought "I'm going to get the ball, run, and do something with it." I liked it.
  9. Mourinho's clearly disappointed and it's slightly unsavory to see this out in the public, but to be fair he's bloody right. No special treatment because you're younger, you do what's expected of you, or you don't play. I'm still certain there's a bit of mind games involved though, and I'm hoping RLC will take it the right way, take it as a challenge, and build from here. Time will tell.
  10. Yep. 10,000 people turned out just to watch our boys train today.
  11. He doesn't. No they aren't. End of.
  12. Have followed him closer than most of our youth players this season and I've been pretty impressed. This free kick against Spurs was a particular highlight: https://vine.co/v/OV3I0TbpnhZ For those who don't know much about him, he was our Youth Cup winning captain, and has trained with the first team a fair amount throughout the season. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3058741/Chelsea-s-Youth-Cup-captain-Charlie-Colkett-inspired-Cesc-Fabregas.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gv84EoZACA4 Keep it up lad!
  13. Felt the need to add another one in there taking inspiration from one of your awards
  14. http://www.a-league.com.au/article/mourinho-names-front-three-as-chelsea-land-in-sydney/wbxlu4jqg2qn1nnhno54m5pwf
  15. Fantastic goal tonight, but beyond that his overall performance was very impressive. Surprised nobody has mentioned his Academy PotY award in this thread, Congrats Dom! The boy has had a magnificent season.
  16. Cesar Azpilicueta books the referee for asking Eden Hazard for his picture!
  17. Sydney FC went down 0-1 to a pretty strong Spurs team tonight, Harry Kane was the goalscorer in the 43rd minute. This will be a good challenge for our boys.
  18. Charlie Colkett MotM for me, great performance in both offence and defence. Fantastic goal from Dom Solanke also!
  19. LOL! I was onto something, just that the groups were the other way round in terms who the starters were and who the subs were!
  20. This article says that a group of 10 outfield players trained together yesterday, with another group training separately, before they all came together for a game at the end. Maybe those 10 will be the starting players? If so, potentially something like this? Cech/Blackman Azpilicueta Christensen Terry Dasilva Matic Houghton Musonda Loftus-Cheek Hazard Costa If Costa is unfit after the Mikel challenge, then presumably Remy would come in.
  21. Sounds like he won't be fit to face WBA, but is a chance to make the Sunderland game.
  22. Not that this signing was ever going to happen, but he's announced his retirement at season's end. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32737556
  23. Agree. He seems to have an agenda to commit at least one foul in that exact same spot every game and eventually it was going to lead to set-piece trouble.
  24. Yep, it's to do with the size of the tear. Some will walk off, others will be stretchered off, both with the same injury. Anyway, back onto Kurt, has anyone heard any further details about his injury? With the players getting a few more days off post-Liverpool game it's all been a bit quiet. I guess we'll hear at Jose's pre-match press conference if not before.
