  1. Palace is a derby. I think that makes a difference. More demand.
  2. Cracking game. We played a real clean game, while Stoke was resorting to absolute thuggery. I suppose that is what happens when the entire game happens in their final third. No wonder they could only score from their own half, we never let them in ours. (That goal though...) We should have had a more convincing win really. Still 3 points! Gutted about Diego but I have every faith in Remy now, he keeps on delivering. Cuadrado just looks so weak, I hope he sorts himself out. And I was the one calling for him to get some more minutes... And Willian really seems to be stepping up his game. Ever since we bought Cuadrado. No one sang his song though. Its a personal favourite Also I don't get why people are bothered about Drogba at the end, he's not exactly going to get enough yellows for it to make any difference.
  3. So Costa is fit and available. My fantasy team might not suffer after all...
  4. It's a bar restaurant team leader supervisor at the local university's student union. Its nice not to have to go in at the bottom or have a zero hours contract for once.
  5. Finally leaving the ranks of the unemployed. Feeling fantastic. Hello salary!
  6. So he's as good as said he is leaving in the summer, not like it is a surprise or anything. Where do you reckon he'll end up?
  7. Dad's a Leeds fan, my Mum and Stepdad are Man United. I loved Jimmy Floyd though, and blue was my favourite colour so Chelsea it was. My parents bought me the blue sharp united shirt, but I was having none of it.
  8. Really need us to play well. I'm taking my cousin to his second game, and his first was when we lost to Bradford. Remy deserves more minutes, but its not like Costa deserves to be benched. I hope his injury isn't too bad, and I believe we'd be fine without him, but he seems to take a while to get back into form whenever he's out for a bit, naturally. Besides Costa's on my fantasy football team, so I'd rather he was playing anyway. I doubt Iva will be dropped, but I'd like to see Azpi at RB, and let Luis have a run of games. I want to see Cuadrado as a starter. I think its unfair to have to prove yourself in the dying minutes of a game, and he's only ever brought on if we need a goal which always means desperate decisions instead of intelligent ones. I just want to see what he does with 90 minutes. Courtois Dave - Zouma - Terry - Luis Matic - Cesc Cuadrado - Willian - Hazard Costa
  9. Courtois saved our bacon! Needed that win. 6 points cleaaaar
  10. I've just never felt the world needs to be interested in my instagram. But thats what hashtags are for anyway. And people use it in different ways. But as so many people post the same kind of stuff, I'm not sure if it destroys peoples sense of community, as much as it strengthens it. I mean if I bake a lovely cake and think it would be nice to share a photo of it is that going to enhance individualism in the culture of consumerism? Does no one else bake? Does no one else like cake? Sure I bought the ingredients, but should I have grown them so that I'm not a consumer? just a thought, its not all bad
  11. Yeah kind of. It's a nod to Kingdom of Fear's 'Sir Digby Chicken Ceasar' though.
  12. Its more the only times I think to take photos are when my food looks good to me. Isn't your instagram supposed to be an amalgamation of what you like? Although its true I'm not going to instagram the times I eat a whole multipack of chocolate bars, its nothing to do with making other people feel bad.
  13. Mine is literally only lots of pictures of food and holiday snaps but https://instagram.com/no_moomin_yat
  14. I know we should be winning at the bridge, and we can certainly play better than that, but a draws a draw. We should have sunk that goal at the end, and could have had a penalty, so some of it was down to luck in that respect, but then Cesc had a nightmare for the majority, but I wasn't majorly disappointed in anyone otherwise (Oscar doesn't count. As far as I'm concerned, he didn't even turn up). I just think as much as we could have done better we've also played a lot worse recently, and I was encouraged by a lot of the second half.
  15. Really need a win. I can't be bothered with all the saints fans I know giving it the big'un.
  16. 8 hours? That's pretty quick. The detail is fantastic. Mine took just over 12, and although its a half sleeve and goes all the way round, the circumference of my weedy girl arms means the difference in size might not be huge...
  17. American beers are the worst. You can't even give them away. You rock up to a party with a crate of coors and you're going home with it too. I can't drink anymore unfortunately but Vedett was always my fave, and then Duvel if I felt like getting smashed. The Belgians certainly got their beers right.
  18. He'd never get the leniency of decisions hes enjoying at the moment, at Chelsea.
  19. I didn't mean about our performance. Our performance was undeniably awful. But he understood as a player that you will try and influence the ref, and its been a part of the game. I think its important to have a fair perspective like that, instead of a knee-jerk 'Chelsea are disgusting/pathetic/disgraceful', like Carragher who is a hypocrite. And after playing at PSG and failing to get any calls its not surprising when some players are going to make a song and dance when they're tackled. Regardless I think personally its the language that is being used that stings a little, and I'm happy to have Neville on our side.
  20. Throwing around words like 'pathetic', 'disgusting', 'disgraceful', 'ugly'. Definitely some harsh words that don't apply to hassling the ref a bit. Maybe if a few more calls went our way we wouldnt feel like that was an appropriate reaction, but the way things are we have to fight for every decision. Neville though, defended us like a level-headed knight in shining armour.
  21. Only pundit that's always fair and impartial. Smart guy. Only one who defended us against the witch hunt yesterday.
  22. The way the press are reporting us surrounding the ref is doing my head in. Its a moot point as he already had out the red card anyway, and I believe they legitimately thought they all saw a red card incident. I don't think its that out of the ordinary a reaction. I've seen plenty of teams do it, but we're being called out as being 'disgraceful' and 'showing the ugly side'. Its ridiculous. That doesn't take from the fact that we deserved to lose though. And Hazard was definitely not the MOTM. Had some awful passes.
  23. Bottled it. So disappointing. Just gunna have to settle for the double.
  24. This is true, and why I'll always find language interesting. I do think that people who speak english as a second (or more) language are quite harsh on themselves though. My greek friend always gets so embarrassed and hard on himself when he makes a mistake and me and my friends laugh. I've tried to explain that we only laugh because he is so good at english now that it is a surprise when he makes a mistake and that is why it is funny.
