  1. Logical move after failing in getting Alexis would be to go for Mahrez (bit more expensive, but younger and with lower wage demands). And that would never happen, unfortunately.
  2. Well, Chelsea and Arsenal are both in London, he may not move at all if decides for Chelsea. (LET'S GET OUR HOPES UP, YOU FECKIN MASOCHISTS, MUAHAHAHA!)
  3. Sometimes I hate the way in which we play, but most of the time I am enjoying seasons and watching our games. Transfer windows? Hate them deeply. Winter, summer, anytime, it's so depressing. Watching others buying quality, watching Chelsea doing shit and getting my hopes up here and there with links to massive players (Sandro). Cannot wait January to end.
  4. Because we played once a week, and because we had no competition, yes. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
  5. Kudos to Thibo. Class save that was. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
  6. Mahrez is awesome. Bring him. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
  7. Said two times he will sign new contract, and answered to fan that he will NEVER leave Chelsea. Well, I don't expect him to stay on here forever, but not signing contract after all this talk is unlikely I think and would make him a douche.
  8. Good thing is that we finally seem to go for new LWB. Thank you Newcastle and Rafa. Bad thing - it could be another Zappacosta.
  9. Do or die for Morata. All eyes on him. Especially because we have same opponent, and we are playing at our ground. I hope we win, but I really hope he doesn't score a header.
  10. It's not even a contest, and this is from 2017/18 season, in which Sandro isn't great as in last season. And yes, another very valid argument - who is to say Sandro wouldn't score a lot more if he played as LWB? He is playing as full-back, a defender, you know? LWB is not a defender, it's just like less attacking winger.
  11. Keeping wing-back in first XI, just because he scores here and there, but is average in others aspect, is long term disaster. You know, once we will actually have goal-scoring midfielder, or winger. Hell, Barkley could be just that. Last season we had Pedro. We are not Norwich, or club from the table bottom, to think that way - "keep Alonso, he scorez goals bro, he so good." THEY maybe cannot afford to improve goal-scoring ability from midfield, or wings. Not us. And who's to say he cannot score coming in as a 70-minute super-sub, when opposition is tired?
  12. Telles would improve our first XI, but not enough. Why buy Telles for 35, when you could buy Sandro, proven world class for 60? It's like your car is broken. And you are going to one cheap mechanic to another. And they are ok, price is great. But your car isn't running well enough. And you are visiting those cheap mechanics again and again, to make it better. And after all money and time spent, your car still isn't running like you wanted to. One proper mechanic could've made your car run well. He'd only need one session with your car, it'd be expensive, but you'll know you got what you payed for and that your car would run like you wanted.
  13. Yeah... Barkley isn't 21, he is 24, I cannot see him ever being tactically mature, strong or durable player. He is "baller". RLC? Maybe someday, but for now he is too an AMC, without much of those abilities I mentioned. Kante - RLC - Barkley is something Guardiola would pull. Like Fernandinho - KDB - Silva.
  14. Tearing his muscles? ---------------------------------------------- I was thinking a bit - why would Real Madrid go for Eden Hazard and not Paulo Dybala? Eden is for sure more expensive, three years older, he is established player who played biggest part in winning two Premier Leagues. He is for sure more settled in London than Paulo is at Turin. And they always had great relationship with Juve (Zidane, for example). Dybala to Real would be just like Coutinho to Barcelona, for cca 150 mils Real for sure could get him.
  15. Yeah, scenarios in which both RLC and Barkley would play in same XI are stories for little kids. How, just how? Only if one of them (RLC) becomes good at playing more wide, but that would need whole formation change (in 4-2-3-1/4-1-4-1). That ain't gonna happen. Hope Barkley will be good, but hope RLC will be even better. So, ideal scenario - Ross plays for 2 seasons, has 2 good seasons, RLC improves a lot by that time, comes back to CFC after 2 seasons. RLC takes his place, and we sell Barkley for 60 millions.
  16. He is a good goalscorer, but that's like a central forward having good defensive awareness. It could be useful, but how many times would he get himself in a position to score from that position? Would always prefer someone who is better at crossing, especially with having heading maestro in Alvaro.
  17. They are basically saying: "come and get him". I'm not optimistic about this tho, they'll ask for too much money, our board wouldn't agree to it.
  18. Most of other fans don't consider him top 5 player, some not even top 10. I guess that's good for a potential of him staying here. We might be a bit biased as CFC fans, but no one can tell me he isn't top 5. (I am basing that on social medias comments, and my brother's answer on what he thinks how much Eden would cost, if Coutinho is 145m. He said "the same".)
  19. No, you don't get it. He has swag, duhhh.
  20. When Morata plays at least I know he is playing. If no one told me, I wouldn't think he was playing at all...
  21. Conte said "I think he can play in midfield, if we play with three midfielders, or number 10 if we play 3-4-3.". Actually, it's somewhat unspecified, this "he can play in midfield, if we play with three midfielders". Ok, in three man midfield, but where?
  22. Yup, he is not replacement for Bakayoko, unfortunately. Our awful midfield stays as it is.
  23. So Barca bought Coutinho. What's up with that Arda Turan guy? Always admired him. And Rakitić is good too. Wouldn't mind any of those two alongside Kante, for the right price (they are not young, their contract might be running out, why not grab a chance?)
  24. Why would Liverpool sign Mahrez, for Christ's sake? To play him as a number 10? Salah, their best player, plays on position where, arguably, Mahrez is only very good at. They need number 10, not Mahrez.
