  1. I agree, I remember that season, it was either loss/draw, or 3+ goals for us. And finishing only point above United, winning the league in the last game. But, I also remember that we've won that season every of our top 4 games (in that time there was no top 6). We were good against big sides, and awful against smaller sides. And I still think we should've gone through in UCL against Inter with a little bit more of luck.
  2. This. One would expect that he plays on the right with his good left foot being able to shoot. His playing style is somewhat strange, I am seeing what his ability is, but I've never seen him doing something exceptional in final third, some dribble or pass that would make a difference. Really wouldn't pay more than 40mils for him. Buying Mahrez just makes more sense.
  3. I don't think he should watch Drogba at all. Maybe for a hold-up play, yes. But Drogbas' shoot was more power than accuracy. Morata will never have that much power on him, he better watch Diego Costa actually, he was lethal with no shoot power at all. David Villa would be man to look up for him, too.
  4. Watched some of his videos and changed my mind. I don't think he is that good, especially in the last third. Mahrez would be better buy.
  5. We are in a need of one big transfer, one big buy, to get the other things rolling. I want CHELSEA BREAKS THE BANK FOR A FRENCH SUPERSTAR screaming from the papers, I want them all to talk about us. That will attract other good players too. Don't know much about him, hope he is good and we can finally do it.
  6. Exactly. In ideal scenario, Conte wanted Bonucci and Christensen as a back up. Why would anyone want to add 20-yo in our unstable defense? He wanted Bonucci, and rightly so. Christensen turned out to be all right, but Bonucci is still top top class defender and our defense would be on another level with him.
  7. As long as people are bashing Conte, I will bash every single of our average players and board members with pleasure. I mean, I can understand all, but that Conte was "rubbish in the transfer market"? Is Conte our director, is he in our board? Since when is Conte in charge of transfers? If I recall correctly, HE was the man who tried to convince our board to buy some decent players, he was the one who tried so hard in many ways to show them that we need more.
  8. They need Coutinho more than they need Griezmann. Suarez and Messi are magnificent goalscorers, what they need is Iniesta's successor. After all, they are Barca. Coutinho is totally their type of player.
  9. I appreciate your effort, but offensively-wise, it's Hazard and 10 other guys.
  10. So we are basically fielding a team, with Hazard and 10 other guys. Hazard and a guy that currently can only score headers, guy that can't run and dribble and is only good at passing, two very unproductive wingbacks and two midfielders who aren't good offensive. Could it be any easier for other teams to focus ALL their strength on marking and kicking Hazard, especially if they set up for defending? Well, I don't think so, I think Messi would struggle here too sometimes.
  11. Yes, I might be. Hope you are right.
  12. It is not them winning the league that I hate. It's that they'll probably break all kind of records, maybe even be new invincibles, and even more important - they have a team which can dominate in England and Europe for a lot of years to come.. They could win most of the leagues in upcoming years, maybe even UCL. And then, they will be about leveled with us in the number of important trophies. Their project just screams 'longevity' and ours actually never did. And they will have this really good football, people will always admire that.
  13. He isn't our weakness, he is just not a top player. I may have compared him with Torres, that was a bit harsh - maybe he's like Torres from 2013 when he scored 20 goals. Same insecurity, same lack of composure. From our current squad, I would say he is on level with Fabregas. Hazard, Kante and Azpi, with Courtois somewhat behind them, are still our best players. After them, Fabregas and Morata. And last tier would be our most average players - Alonso, Cahill, Luiz, Moses, Drinkwater. Christy and Rudy, don't know where to put them yet. And Bakayoko is of course behind all.
  14. I like this moments of truth, no hiding in lie, no covering mistakes and giving false hope. WE ARE OUT, he said, so deal with it. Really glad he said that. Maybe our delusional board open their eyes now.
  15. Actually, Conte was pretty great with his decisions past weeks. Today he made some mistakes, did everything he could to fix them already at the half time. Seriously, I won't ask much more than that, especially when I see our flawed players and retarded board.
  16. Eden, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.
  17. Found it: http://metro.co.uk/2017/12/09/antonio-conte-says-chelseas-title-challenge-west-ham-loss-7145702/
  18. Does anyone have link to this press? Video or written, doesn't matter.
  19. I know that. This "We're just not good enough to make drastic adjustments in game" means that coach every time must do everything almost perfectly in order for our team to play well.
  20. Can we now please admit to ourselves the obvious things? Or are we still in the "give him time, he has good goal-scoring record" period? Man is Torres with magnificent heading skills. I'm not saying that we could've bought better striker. But let's not lie to ourselves.
  21. Conte made a mistake with 3-5-2 for this one, but it was 3-4-3 in 46th minute after Pedro went in and we still didn't produce anything.
  22. If Conte ever gets fired, I want Leif as CFC manager. I'm not even kidding.
  23. I don't think that's always the case. There are too much top players around there, Real and Barca can't buy them all. And City and United won't spend every season those crazy sums, also, PSG got all they needed, they can't fit more attacking players in team. Dybala, Griezmann, Coutinho, those three are just from the top of my head. Coutinho probably to Barca, and we can fight with others for Dybala and Griezmann, why not? Who wouldn't want to play with Hazard, Fabregas and Morata, under good coach like Antonio Conte, in team that wins trophies regularly? We just need to show more will in the market, it's still all in our hands. EDIT: There are a lot of young stars too, like Fekir or I don't know.
