I agree. That's why Mahrez would be awesome option. But don't know where it would leave Barkley... On the bench?
-
Yeah, I think so. But he won't be cheap... But, options are there. Mahrez and Martial, both really good attainable players.
-
I'm saying for months to my friend that Martial/Rashford could be interested in a move, considering the situation at Man Utd. No way they can all play.

I am happy because I consider Dzeko proven player. What he's done at City, Roma and in Germany is way more than what Morata did at Juve/Madrid/Chelsea. And yes, despite of his age, he was never actually fast, so can't see him declining much. Morata is still project in making and his development could go either way. Do I consider Dzeko better than Morata NOW? Yes, I do. But, Morata could easily get better. Could, don't know if he would. Also, Dzeko's arrival is a great thing for Morata, even if he ends up on the bench. There will be no presure on him, he could then focus, work in silence and take his chances to show his worth. He wants guarantee for regular playing time? Show him Moratas' highlights from last 3 games...

4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 Matić - Herrera; Sanchez - Pogba - Martial; Lukaku OR Matić - Herrera - Pogba; Sanchez - Lukaku - Martial Either way, as much as I am expecting more from our board regarding the transfers, I don't expect signing 500k/week players, if they aren't Hazard level players in their prime.
-
He have scored 49 goals in last season-and-half.
-
I would dance! I mean, no one from those three could improve us massively now - Barkley is unfit and unproven, Džeko is proven and fit but cup-tied and Emerson is unfit. But going into next season with those three, fit and integrated... Man, oh man.
-
My neighbors Bosnians and us Croatians were always having a debate, who is better - Džeko or Mandžukić. And I have always thought that anyone who could even compare those two are out of their minds. Mandžukić made better choices in his career, Džeko should've left City long time ago, but Džeko was always much much superior player than Mario. Like someone already mentioned - if Džeko in 2011. had gone to Chelsea instead of Torres, he would become top 10 striker in the world. Real pity that he had competition in Sergio Aguero. He always had massive potential, I dare to say his potential to become top striker was on level with Robert Lewandowski.

Dzeko is classic #9. Pure, old-fashioned #9. Great target-man, great finisher, tall and strong on the ball, great with both feet, great with headers too. Solid technique and slow as fuck. Couldn't ask for more. Rotate him and Morata, keep Dzeko for 1.5 years. Morata by that time should prove himself and become our main striker, if he is really worth it. This makes so much sense, if we bring Dzeko our board will have huge plus from me. I would pay 35 millions for him, no questions asked.

Dzeko Dijamant is a better player than Morata. Bring him in!!!!!

@Jason, Morata didn't start to play football this season. I am not convinced with his time at Juventus and Real at all. I think, if he was better, he would play much more for Juventus, and not as a second striker. 15 goals in two seasons at Juventus are just not enough. His rivals for place were nothing special there. Why didn't he play? 2015/16 - Mandžukić scored 12 goals. 2015/14 Llorente scored 8 goals. Those two are not Drogba and Aguero. Why would anyone in the right mind keep those two in the first team, if anything better is on the bench? Or is Allegri stupid? It's not just this 6 months, but those 6 months somehow just proved what we all were skeptical about. It's 3 seasons. Don't tell me I have no reason to think the way I'm thinking. Meanwhile, Aubemeyang in last 4 seasons scored about 80 goals. That's just too much not to put him at class above. EDIT: And he may be good, someday. But for now, it doesn't look like he will, and really relying on him to lead our attack for years is a risk.
-
Why Cesc wouldn't play? I think we will play with Hazard, Willian and Barkley. I actually REALLY hope Barkley will play from first minute. Some fresh blood is badly needed.
-
@Jason, we may not be creating great chances every game, but that wouldn't be Auba's problem. He may be more "shy" with goals for some time, but with bringing right LWB, and with Barkley who may be good at creating chances, why not? And yes, he would be more "shy" with this team, but nothing compared to Morata. On the other side - we may bring KDB, Verratti, Pogba and Coutinho, Morata would still be the same, missing everything no matter how many chances he has. Also, Alvaro's link up play is good, but hold up play isn't, so let's not act like he is providing us with some great all-round contribution every game. And don't tell me he MAY be good, he is showing exactly the opposite every time he tries to shoot the ball.
-
Didn't know about him being bad boy. I think our striker will ALWAYS get one-two real chances per game to score, with the help of teammates. Hazard and Fabregas are good enough of creators, we need someone who can finish. Also, here and there he can create something himself with that insane pace. No way he isn't significantly better than Morata, no way.
-
I don't think he is better than Lukaku, anymore. And like others have mentioned, his face when things go wrong is: "MUUUM, THEY HIT MEEEE!!" Aubameyang was the only right choice last summer, unfortunately. A lot better player than Lukaku and Morata, despite being 27 then (18.6. he turned 28yo). 3-4 years left in him. Would trade Morata + 20 millions for Auba any day of the week.

We always had thee best backup goalkeepers in the world. Cudicini, Čech, Begović, Caballero.

If it's loan, I can live with that. Not easily, but I can. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

OMG I WAS WRONG BASTHUAYI BEST PLAYER EVR!
-
I know, but he is the reason we are not in the market for another CMF. Others are bad, but they aren't preventing us from improving our squad.
-
Best thing that can happen to this club is someone to offer 25 millions for Bakayoko, and we to accept it.
-
Batshayi is playing like he knows he is ditched. He was always average, but this is really really bad.
-
His stamina is pure shit, especially for a 23 years old. Of course he won't recover and track back. B2B midfielder my ass... Good thing he won't be facing Messi, Coutinho, Dembele and Suarez anytime soon. Oh, wait...
-
OH for a love of GOD, DON'T SING ANYONE! Youth will play, I WILL play! Just don't sing anyone! When I asked for more signings I was wrong, just STAY PUT. Fockin board... Guy played for 16 minutes this whole season and is having really bad injury recovery. Injured unfit Barkley, Bakayoko and Drinkwater weren't enough? It's like we are buying at the 70% off sale, used clothes with holes and tears. Giving it to our TAILOR Conte to fix it. Mum, are we poor?
