Morapilicuetaaaaaa!!!

What do you think of 3-4-3 of last season? With Matić - Kante -- Hazard - Costa - Pedro ?
-
Moses, my God. Disastrous. Bakayoko too. Could've been 3-0.
-
At first I thought Zappa was intelligent, decent player. And I am proved wrong. He was known for his decent cross, but boy oh boy, those crosses are dreadful. The rest was expected.
-
Real is done, CR is done. Can't see Zidane staying, ergo, can't see Eden wanting to go there. Also, CR, self-named "best in the history", is nowhere near Messi, neither is Ramos anything near any of the top defenders in the world. Never actually liked Barca, but to see CR and Ramos losing like this makes me really happy.
-
I think he is player type like Luka Modrić. Which is good.
-
Exactly. We should be good with Moses/Zappa duo at the right. Moses is way more solid than Alonso, IMO, and we will rarely get exposed with him. He will often give you 6.5/10 performance. Alonso on the other hand is hot and cold - 1/3 games he plays 8.5/10 performance, scoring goals or something, but in other 2 he will give you 4/10. Also, Kenedy could be offloaded easily, and then we have really good situation - Sandro/Grimaldo/Rose/Guerreiro/Telles with Alonso as a back up - two good options, and both would get enough minutes.
-
I know, it just doesn't happen very often... Pirlo, Xabi, Xavi, they've all kept their passing ability level until middle 30's, and Cesc is already on downward spiral. Or maybe he was always like that and we overrated him a bit? Don't know...
-
As soon as he went into THAT situation after Kenedy's pass, I knew he will try to do something smart. If it was Willian, Bakayoko, Moses, Alonso or Pedro in his place I wouldn't bat an eye. Was really exciting. On the other side, I think his (long) passing regressed a bit. He often misses his targets, and don't give me that "he always tries to do something risky and unexpected so of course he misses". I think Eriksen and KDB might be actually better than him at that.
-
Really liked his goal yesterday. It wasn't cleanest of finish, but the one-two was brilliant, run was brilliant and the shot was good. Composure was there, didn't try to over-complicate things as he often does. Very good.
-
I don't like the fact that we are playing him in the defense. We are in a need of quality midfielders, not center backs - if we can choose, and it seems to me that we can, it would be better to push him in midfielder positions.
-
And that's why Conte put Morata and Hazard in game. Maybe not to equalize, but to finish the game. Really nice action between the two. Two really good goals we scored.
-
Do you seriously think Griezmann wanted to offend someone? EDIT: I know it's oversimplification, but analogy is on point.
-
Well, some of us could find that offensive, just like you found what Griezz Griezz did offensive.
-
Well, I agree actually - both sides could be at fault. Offender and offended. And not being like me and you is their problem. Ergo - not thinking rationally is one's problem, too. But we are talking about this particular case in which I think Griezmann is not at fault, and offended people are.
-
Social Justice Warrior.
-
With some things it's clear at the first sight that offender's intentions were the wrong ones. And that offender meant it. If I am unsure of his intentions, like every normal person would be in Griezmann's case, I do react in calm rational manner, yes, every time.
-
Well, if offended side was telling him their reasons in a normal, decent way, without insulting, he should've listened. If they immediately called him ignorant/racist/whatever, then he have right to laugh at them. And sorry, but I think latter case happens more often.
-
How about that offended people try to learn if someone actually meant something offensive, before they call them racist or ignorant? It's not ignorant, one cannot know whole human history, one cannot know ALL the offensive things. In the end, it would mean you googling every your step, anytime you try to do something, checking if that's offensive or not. People should have more understanding, In this example, per se, correct solution would be - offended people to tell Griezmann why it's offensive, but politely, without that much drama, because he hadn't have wrong intentions, and doesn't know all the offensive things. And then, if they provide him with decent arguments, he should consider not doing it next time. End of.
-
First it was Kenedy with the China guy shit - about something he actually never did, THEY translated it wrong, after that Lukaku and a song about his long penis (that's racist? lol), now this. Also, the censored things you could see on Facebook each day, hilarious. It seems like every word you say actually could be offensive to someone. We are society of a very very weak individual.
-
Never been big fan of Fabregas, but his presence was really obvious in last 20 minutes. He is good character and just by that improves our team which is lacking just that. Morata was also very good, that little dribble and shot with his left was sublime. Also his assist to Fabregas. Nice stuff at the end of the game. Disappointed by Conte's team selection.
-
All things considered, this no-striker set up looks somewhat toothless. It could be enough to play against lesser sides only. I would like much more to deploy 3-4-3 with Cesc - Kante; Hazard - Morata - Willian/Pedro against lesser sides - command Willian/Pedro to track back and help defense and it should be good.
-
I just remembered... My God you clumsy Cahill! Almost assisted them for a goal.
-
Bakayoko brings nothing, again. Now we are leading so I doubt we will see Fabregas in place of him, but I would really like it... Morata should come in for Pedro, Willian was really good today actually.
-
Remy may have been better player, but too injury prone, so I think Michy is more useful. Also, wouldn't say Torres was better, he just played week-in-week-out, almost every game, so it was easier for him to get decent run in 2013. Kalou was better, but his main advantage was possibility of playing on the wing. I don't think Kalou would ever stick so long with the club if it weren't for that. I don't remember Sheva's time really good, was he really worse than Torres? Maybe competing with prime Drogba was just too much for him? With rest I agree, of course.
