Yes, sack Conte for Hazard to be happy, and bring manager that can play like Barcelona with this team. Lol. Giroud should have been sent in action earlier, at least after hour-mark at 60' with 1-1 on the scoreboard. If Thibo decides to leave, we will buy someone, don't worry. But to have let's say Donnaruma and Willy as back up might end up a lot of playing time for Willy, because Donnaruma isn't proven yet. I get what you all are saying, but have in mind that's always easier to play in back-3 than back-2. He is good, but he would never be this good with his positioning and concentration in back-2. It's a bit relative. Luiz last year looked like world beater, and he is nowhere near that.

I think we can all see now that false-9 system isn't problem by itself. What is problem is false-9 system WITHOUT FABREGAS. Also, one more thing - Morata <-> Pedro and Drinkwater <-> Fabregas were both decent changes, and well timed. Maybe Giroud was better option, Alvaro couldn't keep the ball to save his life.

Only way to play with Fabregas and not Drinkwater against side like this was to compensate mobility somewhere else on the field. Conte did that by playing Pedro instead of Morata/Giroud. So with the help of Willian and Pedro, Fabregas wasn't exposed much for Barca. Never, ever in this game Barcelona looked like scoring. And he benched our captain, who is also an Englishman, against bloody Barcelona. This man deserves all the praise he can get. Hats off.

I think Willian sholud play. After all this years being in the shadow of Eden, Costa and Fabregas, and not getting real recognition, he will have point to prove. He is not young anymore, he knows that there will be no many chances like this. He is in good form. Also, it's real pitty that we will probably start with Drinkwater against bloody Barcelona.

It would be such a shame if Drinkwater starts against Barca. I can't see other way, but I really hope Conte surprises us with something special. And what about Alonso? I guess we'll see Zappa on the left...

How many of you think Fabregas will start in midfield-two against Barcelona?

Thing is - if he is not good enough for playing as a lone striker, he isn't good enough for our starting XI. That way he would take place for someone creative who could actually feed Giroud with good balls (currently it's Barkley, even Fabregas in some cases, we all know he rarely plays in 3-4-3 formation, only in 3-5-2...)

That would mean back to square one for Morata, if Conte decides it - ergo, that he is not good enough to play as a lone forward.
