He isn't that good at RW though which is where I think he would play mainly for us. As a ST/CF on the other hand he is great especially against smaller teams. In big games he tends to go missing a lot and always get substituted 1st by Simeone.

You need balance so Bayern atm is a good example. Contrary to popular beliefs they don't just pass around aimlessly anymore but actually play quite direct now when they want to/in big games like against Porto last Wed. It is annoying how people keep associating everything into either the bus parking class(Simeone, Jose) and purist but useless(Rodger,Pelle,Wenger...etc) while a top manager like Ancelotti/Pep can do both perfectly.

Meh don't think he is the same ever since that back injury, admitedly last game I thought he was impressive was Dortmund's win over Bayern in Pep's 1st game against Dortmund a couple of years ago but since then I have watched a few Dortmund CL matches and he seems annonymous. Also who to says he won't become their Aquilani. On another hand he could also becomes their own Essien at his peak even with troubled fitness. 22m is OK, maybe a bit high considering it is his last year in his contract but then again if it wasn't he would have cost 30-40m min so OK I guess.

I agree that Jose's tactic was nothing special last week and certainly not what everyone is praising. Regarding Hazard football doesn't work like that though, if we didn't have him others will have stepped up and we will still be scoring goals. Arsenal for example if Sanchez didn't come who to says Cazorla, Rosicky, Ramsey...etc won't each bang in another 5 goals of their own and make up for it. Last season we didn't have Costa and still came within a couple of matches from winning the league with the front line of Eto'o, Torres and Ba(didn't they contribute less than Costa himself this season alone in BPL?). I agree with your last point though sometime it is better just to leave it as it is if it is working for everyone involved. However we don't know if Hazard habors any secret ambition to join Los Blancos eventually, that is why all these hypothetical situations are popping up. If he stays what everyone here say will be useless anyway

Or it has to do with them having probably the top 20 players in the world in their team, in some case even some of the best in their position... Neuer, Lahm, Bastian, Martinez,Gotze, Robben, Ribery, Muller, Pique, Iniesta, Messi, Suarez, Neymar, Alba, Marcelo, Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Modric, Ramos, Varane and others. We should be there too if Jose didn't choose to be negative against 10 men PSG as our starting 11 can compete with anyone on anyday. We don't need a 'few' more players to compete, which few players would that be that is affordable/possible to get?

Meh he is good but not 50m worth good, if Atletico won't accept anything lower than his release clause we should let it go. 50m are for players who are either best in the world in their positions or at least among top 10 or capable of something briliant out of nowhere like Hazard/Bale/Neymar...etc.
