  1. Obviously we would be playing well at some point, we are playing our strongest team at home against a mid table team, not PSG or Barcelona. The key is keeping up for the whole match which we can't and lose our focus resulting in that red card. Oh and they bossed it 10 mins into half time anyway
  2. Apparently bad preseason means nothing though...
  3. Horrible preseason, horrible transfer window, horrible start to the season, how low can it get? Oh and Courtois out of City game next week :/
  4. Let's not get carried away, he usually have a few of these at the start of every season.
  5. Lol...that is at least 3 weeks out if true. hopefully not.
  6. Because all of them are overrated and none are actually good enough.
  7. Gonna also be funny for all the desperate people defending Falcao after the game if he does play and ends up not scoring/getting into position to have a good chance. I am betting some of these excuses will be repeatted: 1. He needs time 2. He is new so should get at least 10 matches to be judged 3. His all round play was good(because he touched the ball a few time) 4. He doesn't need to score goals, just passing the ball to team mates without losing posession count as a good start 5. It doesn't matter he costs nothing anyway 6. We got Remy who cares about Falcao 7. We didn't give him enough service(best excuse yet that applies to every struggling striker) Either way any bad game he has today you can be sure a lot of people will jump to his defend because we are all desperate for him to succeed. For me this match will have a lasting impression, if he plays well(by well I mean actually CREATE SOMETHING DANGEROUS, getting into good positions or score a goal, he might well be able to do something here. If he plays poorly, hardly see the ball then we can write him off already because last season shows he won't improve as the season goes on.
  8. Today will be a terrible game draw, with Mourinho afterward commenting on how we were the better team and they parked the bus. Then everyone still stay calm because it is only 1 game anyway, the same people that thought preseason meant fuck all
  9. haha hindsight...if I was honest back in Jan even us fans wanted Cuadrado over Costa, doubt anyone would have preferred Costa back then especially with his 35m euros release clause compared to 26m for Cuadrado
  10. Atm he looks like possibly the WORST CHELSEA PLAYER EVER in modern history, yes MODERN HISTORY that is how bad he is. He contributes nothing substantial so far, NOTHING. Even Torres had a couple of glory moments once or twice every season, Sheva scored a few goals that I can still remember. But this guy...all I remember so far of his Chelsea career is how weak, technically limited he is, at least he got speed I will give him that but you don't pay 23m for speed, might as well buy someone like Nathan Dyer or Sinclair if we wanted speed only.
  11. I am guessing he missed around 22 official games we had last season and probably won't be wrong, he virtually missed the last 2 months of the season.
  12. We laugh all the time at Sturridge's situation at Liverpool but the fact that we got a similar injury prone striker on our own is ironic. Honestly if this season ends with him getting less than 15 goals and playing less than 30 matches with Falcao/Remy struggling in big matches I really hope we blow 40m next summer on a YOUNG INJURY FREE STRIKER who just had a good season, maybe Lacazette if he has a great season again.
  13. Off the top of my head: Clyne Liverpool but he is not as good as Ivanovic De Bruyne but don't think he can be considered one of our youth player Lukaku maybe in the future if he goes and score 30 goals every season for Everton That is all and 2 of them can't even be considered one of our youth, the others are all ending up at various mid table teams like Swansea, Aston Villa or some unknown team in Bundesliga...etc.
  14. It is like the 'peak' of your career for these players, they are considered the best teams around for a long time with Bayern and Barcelona. The politic stuff only happens when you arrive there, outside it is just a rich powerful club with a shiny badge and prestige and every top players back themselves to succeed there. Also not to MU specifically but he recently said he would like to move to MLS before the end of his career, could see him go if he is unhappy with FSW this season and Madrid fail to win anything again. Hazard did admitted in the past a while ago that his dream was Madrid though, the others are considered loyal club legends so they are not tempted by them.
  15. Price too high and if I remember correctly the last season was his breakthrough season. Players in smaller leagues have to prove themselves at least a couple of seasons for big teams to notice as no one want to sign a one season wonder. Hulk, Falcao, Matic...etc all had to do 2-3 seasons before they got their big move. If he scores 20 goals again this season next year a big team might be interested
  16. Keep on farming youth, abandon all these big name signings to go for potential... Maybe we will unearth another Messi, or another Kakuta who the fuck knows. I hope the club stops putting full effort into this before it is too late once our investment reaches a high level it will be impossible to turn back or at least will take a while. Going Arsenal 2004-2013 road if we decide to do this utopia approach.
  17. If we fail to challenge for the title this season and Ronaldo leaves next year, could see Madrid come in and offer 100m for him and he would want to go despite what he said recently and the new deal. I hope for our sake we at least put up a fight for the title and reach QF of CL to show ambitions, or we are gonna get destroyed because of our new transfer policy.
  18. People now throwing out excuses for Falcao like they did with Torres reality gonna hits hard when a few games in he endures a similar struggle...then the normal perfect excuse of 'time to settle in' will start to kick in. Then it is 'he is just a loan anyway' then eventually Cuadrado type desperation and ending with us all being happy after he left next summer.
  19. Don't think we will win the title without any addition, this squad doesn't seem capable of repeating title success.
  20. Prediction: 1-1 boring draw with them somehow bossing posession, probably will score 1st.
  21. Falcao to score less than 5 goals in all competition, quote me back on this at the end of the season.
  22. Chelsea Real Madrid Wolfsburg Olympiacos We are gonna boss it undefeated.
  23. Then sign a few inform for ut to keep it fresh from getting too boring
  24. By do well I meant leading the line in the biggest of games, not as a sub. As a sub he is really good and can easily get 20 goals against lesser sides, but as today shown what many feared: he can't lead the line in the biggest games.
