Anyway chance of this is like 0.1% but if we were to pull it off it has to be one of the biggest suprise signing from us in recent history. From Jose's early summer comments about how we can't afford him to this a couple of months later is quite a shock.

Nice at least they learned from the mistake of 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. Now they know that you ALWAYS have to spend big or at least make important additions every year even if you walked it the previous year. At least I am glad this time they helped Jose instead of just letting him creating more tension like 2006-07 season. If this was 5 years ago and Jose was the manager in a similar situation you can bet your house there will be rumors of a departure.

When did I said Hazard wasn't performing for us? him being inconsistent and him not performing for us are completely different things, obviously he performed greatly for us that is why he won POTY award. In 2 years unless he picks up a serious injury he obviously should improve, if he doesn't then it is worrying. In 2 years I would expect a player like him to get around 20 goals/assists annually and perform a bit more consistent in bigger games.

Mate I pointed out problems with Hazard's inconsistency a few weeks back, Falcao being a bad signing, Costa's form not upto it and Jose's big game tactic will get found out this season, all proven to be true so far I hate to say 'I told you so' but it kinda have to sound something like that.

That was different they were still only a couple of points off the top and Messi's annoyance in that match+him following our players on instagram after made the problem seems bigger than it really were. You don't get kicked out of Barcelona for no reason if you are good...especially after the effort they went through to sign him again. He probably had a point to prove last season to them so he did extremely well for us in the 1st half of the season, but now with his place all but untouchable he is relaxing again and as a result his concentration also dips. Honestly we need a Vidal type midfielder to replace this guy in big games, he can create all the chances in the world against Watford but he cannot do it in a high intensity game against a big team. Thinking about it why on Earth we didn't go for Vidal at £28m ffs.

Sometime his team is too organised to the point that they can't create a difference against a well packed smaller team defense though, I remember plenty of games last season where they drew scoreless against smaller teams and that ultimately costed them in the race for title, not the big games which they played really well in for the most part.

Tbf they had Gotze, Lewandowski, Reus, fully fit Kuba and fully fit Bender/Gundogan, along with fully fit defense for most of those 2 seasons. Any half decent manager who cannot get their team to play good football with that deserves to get sacked. Then again our current team now on paper is just as good as that and Jose isn't really doing a great job of helping us playing attacking football, the Aug-Dec period last year seems to be more exception than the norm.

It is not just 2 games though but ever since his injury last season he was never the same again, in fact if I am honest the last time I remember him playing well probably dates all the way back to December last year when he just scored his 12th goal or something like that. His fitness, sharpness isn't here and mixing it with his temper, annoying behavior means we now have a striker that is bringing more harm than good to the team. Before he had goals to back him up and justify his actions partly, but now without it he is exposed more than ever.

Maybe it is a clause inserted when he signed back in 2013 that if we won the title they could choose to activate it but the release fee will stay the same hence it costs nothing if they do decide to pull the trigger and it looks like they are backing him

So one of his praised trait is now not scoring goals but having the ability to wind others up and getting them send off

He also struggled last season though and Dortmund's start this season shows there is nothing wrong with the same group of players. Immobile also criticised him for not focussing on tactics much last season and instead relying on motivation skill.

I don't mean inconsistent as in not scoring/assiting enough but more of a general play. I mean Hazard is our most important player and carries us most of the time, but the amount of time he shines in big games is limited compared to Reus at least from my personal experience. I can remember Reus nearly getting Dortmund through to semi final in that 2nd leg against Real in 13-14 by scoring 2 goals, most of the time in big games he always have a big part to play as well. On the other hand while Hazard occasionly shines like he did against MU at home last season and City away in 13-14, he just doesn't seem to be doing it more often. Most of the time he was also annonymous for major period of a game until a certain time he decides to start playing while from the amount of matches I watch, Reus always seem to have a good game for the full 90 mins. I agree both are fantastic though and if we can have both I would trade anything, but we can't

Hazard and consistent doesn't fit together mate. Reus on the other hand proven over the years that he can get over 20 goal/assists barrier everytime he is fully fit.

He will join MLS next season he confirmed a few weeks back. Also they worked well with each other at Inter anyway and he said he would 'die' for him

As much as Jose is to blame for our current predicament, the board isn't helping. They look like they learned fuck all from 09-10 season, thinking because we won the league and playing champaign football for some part of that season we got a solid team for the next few years. Also I think their good dealings last summer make them feel so sure of themselves they are confident of adopting that 1 in 1 out policy permanently now. Luckily the Cuadrado-Schurrle should be a wakeup call. All these sponsor deals and tv money and we end up being tie with Everton over a few millions for Stones along with refusal to strengthen the team with reasonable signings like Witsel and Pedro shows they are contributing to this mess as much as Jose and others.

Could be final nail in the coffin as well, if we drop point in this without any big signing by then can see Jose really loses it. Heart says we will finally end our winless streak and get a lucky close 1-0 win but head says it will be a dull 0-0 draw with further 2 points dropped and us being effectively out of title race 3 games in.

Jose also reminded Terry in the press conference that he was the one who gave him the chance when the FSW didn't, I can see cracks appearing between these 2 as well. If Mourinho lasts until summer I got a feeling Terry won't have his contract renewed.

All it takes for him is after the window closes to point at a lack of good signings, indirectly criticising the board basically and this will all blow up. I can imagine it happening at some point over the course of the season if we don't make good enough signings, this match won't be the last terrible match we play this season.

Never understood all the hate with him either. That 10-11 season was not his fault especially as it is proven by the season after that the squad was the real problem.
