It's not really easy for me to argue the toss because i know England are shit and always will be and i don't even feel that gutted when we get knocked out of these tournaments as i like to see the best matches and teams go head to head in the later stages. England have a lot of people and the best league in the world so should do better. Country population doesn't necessarily mean they are all English though, i mean i don't even see England anymore when i go outside! And we also have a lot of Sport preferences like Rugby and Cricket amongst others too. The Brazil's, Spain's, Holland's and Germany's of this world teach their youngsters football better and care more about their youth set ups domestically. I'm surprised we're actually as good as we are as we seem to only invest in foreigners nowadays. It will probably get worse before it ever gets better, maybe the FFP rules will help bring the youth through.

I hate Wayne Rooney. I've hated him for about 6 years, i hate his temperament, his attitude, his face, his hair (or lack of), his ginger beard, his scouse voice.... i hate almost everything about him. Strangely enough, i'd be mega excited if he came to us. He is a tremendous footballer when he's confident, in form and happy. He's also English. The thought of him with Mourinho is really something exciting. Can get him for like £25m too which is half of Cavani's asking price and he's not that much older.

Cavani would be the perfect striker for us. He's much in the Drogba mold, he can take FK's, it strong, helps defend, can score from anywhere and is an absolute beast in the air. If we can get him, even if we have to pay the lot, we'll be complete and will challenge for the title next year. If we really want him, just pay the extra 10m. We can afford to right. Although i've said we shouldn't offer more than £40m, i'm starting to change my mind now. He's one of the best strikers on the planet. Just pay it and get him here Rom!

Judging by that video, he's a fantastic striker of the ball and a very clinical finisher. He seems to play like a striker but i hope he's not too predicable playing on the left and cutting in because he'll be too easy for good defenders to defend against. Looks a great player though. Some of those goals were superb.

Of course but think about it.... Getting 20,30,40k to play only a few games here n there with very little pressure yet winning loads of medals. It may be bad for Ruddy if he wants to get in the England squad but he'll never be England's number 1 anyway. I don't even reckon he's that great to be perfectly honest.

Seeing what Turnbull and Hilario won, there must be a whole queue of GK's hoping to sit on a bench earning 40k a week and winning everything, travelling to the best stadiums, countries and competitions on the planet.
