One thing about Michael Owen is that he will always score goals and he will always be in the right place. He aint as quick as he was but hes still as good a finisher. I wouldnt mind getting him at all.

Essien has EVERYTHING a central midfielder should have. He can defend, he can attack as shown when lampard was out last season, he can shoot, he has pace, he can score goals, he can tackle.... hes a fucking train and dominates games and the sooner he gets back in the team, the better. First half was good i think, we dominated the game but their goal really caught us terribly and going 1-0 down at half time was not justified. We had a few great efforts in the first half through Deco and Lamps but after they scored, their confidence grew and we realised 'hang on, we're in a game here' After their 2nd goal (great goal out of the blue that we couldnt of done a lot about) we were beaten, they controlled it and were the better team. terrible 2nd half performance but we will bounce back and we will still qualify so all is not lost. The 1st goal changed the game.

Apart from the obvious lampard and deco, Belletti has been my favourite player this season. He looks so different to the guy suffering as a exposed right back last season lol. He started off as a midfielder and thats where he should be and stay. The guy has got undoubted ability and a great shot on him. Defo great squad man and maybe even more than that. I like him a lot.

Good 2nd half performance after we got the 2nd we just bullied them and made em look shite lol. That yid arse game...fucking hell! the most unbelievable finish ive ever seen i think.
