good vid from CC. I'm a lot more confident now, i just Watched Tottenham vs Slavia Prague and they were awful. They were 2nd best throughout the 2nd half and Slavia hit the post with not long left. Finished 1-1. I must say tho, Jamie O'Hara looks very good. He'll be in the Tottenham first side for a very very long time.

it will be a great game i feel because tottenham are very open and it wont be as cagey as the previous games with man utd there. I think there will be a lot of chances created and a few goals too. i think 3-1 to us because they also have capabilities of scoring. If they score first, it could be hard to come back tho. They look more organised, fitter and determined under Ramos. its not been the best of seasons for them but Ramos has sorted them out and i can see them challenging the top 4 next season again. They are full of confidence going into this final so hopefully they are too confident and we shoot them down.

Surely you didn't think i had forgotten this game? One of the best nights ever! Again, thanks for the comments. Very much appreciated

Beckenbauer Warns Grant Over Lampard: Chelsea Will Sack You
Ollie replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
my god lol ive read some shit but this takes the piss. Lampard has only just got back from injury, he was rested for the Carling Cup Final on sunday, even a sky pundit or sun journalist could work that one out. Still if playing Ballack instead of Lampard would get him the sack in 1 or 2 weeks then lets all back him to play ballack. -
There will be chat about the quad every season because we always get far in everything. The reality is that we were cack yesterday and our away performances need major improvement even if yesterdays game wasnt a huge game but we still should be going there and winning. We dont seem to win away in KO stages, only Valencia i can recall and that was from a keeper fuck up, we did dominate tho i spose. The Fa Cup is 50/50, us or Man Utd. Carling Cup is probs 60/40 to us because we're one of the top 4, our record vs yido's is good and we are better. Tottenham are a good team with good players tho and will be hard to beat. The league is gone. can be any number between 1-3. The UCL is what i want more than anything. I would take defeat to yids in the cc final and defeat in the FA Cup semi and 3rd in the league to win the UCL.

A package was sent to my work with the name "Manager" on the front and it also contained white powder. The police were in our shop investigating yesterday. We couldnt start work till we were sure it ws safe. It ended up to be talcum powder lol but seriously, thats weird. I can't believe that. Dunno if its a coincidence or not.

i think its a good team but i would like to see 4-4-2 used a bit more. Resting JT and Lamps is the right decision imo. I wanna see what Anelka and DD can do as a partnership.
-
I love jimmy, always did and always will. his scoring record was top class and great to see he's still doing it. Even when Jimbo scores now i love watching it. I would love to see him play at the bridge one more time and be there. One of my all time favs, defo in top 3, probs just behind JT and Lamps.

Absolute Legend. Whether he went to yids or not, he'll still remain a Chelsea legend and one of the best in my era watching the blues. Would be in my Ultimate Chelsea XI every time. he was the first like goalscoring midfielder we had for a long time. the team played around him like we do with lampard now. His performance in the 2000 Fa Cup semi vs Newcastle and his goal against sunderland will always be very well remembered when you hear the name 'Gus Poyet'
-
i dont think it matters to much who plays. Any 11 that line up will be more than capable of beating this side. I can't see any problems what so ever in tonights game. I'm looking forward to it. The rest of the English teams have got very tough games, they wont all go through. Hell, none might go through.

Having semi's at wembley is a good insentive for the teams that very rarely get the chance to play there. I don't like it tho because it makes the final a bit less exciting to get too. Still, i love watching Chelsea at wembley (Even down the pub) so i'm cool with it.
-
Yeah thats probably the best thing to do. Just heard that the Semi's Are at wembley. Can't believe we're gonna be at wembley again. Twice in 2007 and Twice in 2008. Might aswell make Wembley a 2nd home. If we win the Semi, we'll get a 5th match at the new wembley and its not been open long. All the other teams can fuck off, its our ground we shall not we shall not be moved P.S liking the new smilies, I'm gonna thieve them and use em on my MSN
-
i'd only want him if lampard leaves but i obviously dont want that to happen and i'm sure it wont.
-
For some reason its not come out the best but it still looks good to me Fortress Anfield!
-
I know the final is 2 legs at the proper stadiums so for example if we play Man City, First leg could be at Stamford Bridge and the other at the City of Mancs. Do they play at the real stadiums throughout or is it just a final thing?
-
well who else would he want to play for lol, errr.....come on? Every player in the world would say the same thing. And btw the guys a genius, he could do it here no problem at all. Hes awesome, he has absolutely everything. but...... one of the teams in England always fighting for the title: Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool or Chelsea." you sure lol? Since when have Liverpool fought for the title?
-
Ahh memories...... was a pretty decent game last time we went there Great Draw, we'll get past them with no problems. The Liverpool one was a one off, dont matter if its home or away, they're no trouble for us. Semi Here we come and i bet we get the mancs at Villa park for 1996 payback (Craig Burley i still hate you for that)
-
Sheffield United or Middlesbrough vs Cardiff City Manchester United vs Portsmouth Bristol Rovers vs West Bromwich Albion Barnsley vs Chelsea Lets Teach the Scousers how its done!
-
Absolute legend, i can't say more. Occasionally his performances have been criticised in the last couple of years but hes always there, hes always in those goal scoring possitions and he does it better than anyone ive ever seen. You never lose that killer instinct. When we bought him from West Ham in 2001 for £11m i was like "WTF! £11m for him! and now i look back at it and say its the best bit of business in our history and a bargain. In the 04/05 season he was the ultimate player, best player in the world imo, defo the best midfielder. The guys a genius and he's certainly not finished that's for sure. He aint going no-fucking-where! "100 NOT OUT THEY ARE ALL FOR YOU! THANKS" No seriously, Thank you.
-
we have a good record at old trafford anyway and we're due to lose at home so if we get them, i don't care where it is. I know 100% that the draw isnt fixed, i dont believe in conspiracy theories, i just have a feeling that a Man Utd vs Millwall type of final is on the cards like it was in 2004. Its a similar scenario. Still thinking about it, last season we got revenge for 94 by beating the mancs in an FA Cup final at wembly. How about revenge in a semi final at villa park for 96? Would be great also.
-
i don't care who we get really, its only man utd who can knock us out of this cup and same for them, only we can knock them out. We'll get man utd anyway unless a major shock happens. I would rather knock em out before wembley tho to let another team and their fans experience wembley and an FA Cup final. If its a Chelsea - Man Utd final, it would be already our 4th time at wembley and their 3rd lol. I bet we get man utd today in the draw, in fact i'm sure we will.
