this is easy, Joe Cole by a country mile. He always gives his all, hes the one player that has been consistant and even in the matches where we have been shit, Joe has still produced and never given up. Barnsley a fine example, was basically Joe Cole vs Barnsley. He was out of Favour at the start of the season but since he got in, hes not looked back and he wont miss anymore games this season. Hes vital for us til the end of the season.

First part of Grand slam sunday is like........over. Mascherano obviously got sent off on purpose, he got a yellow, then made 2 fouls and then when he was mouthing off at the ref, what did he expect? daft prat. 1-0 mancs at half time, Wes Brown scored. reina has been absolutely terrible, was his fault for the goal and hes made so many more mistakes it could be 3-0 already, got beaten in the air and hit brown on the back and went in. Theres no point liverpool even coming out for the 2nd half.

It's a shame what has become of our fans really. These last few months have really shown the difference between true fans and completely false ones. Some of the threads and posts ive seen in the last few weeks let alone the last few months have made me feel embarrassed to be associated with hmmmm i dunno, 75% of people here, quite unbelievable things ive read, still.....i'll keep posting here and supporting the team, i can flame the "manager" from time to time but it wont get me or the team anywhere. Ok some of the results have been shit lately but everyone gets them. Arsenal aint won for 4 games themselves and all against teams that they should beat very comfertably. Tottenham game was stupid, 3 goals were conceded straight from set plays and the other one was just because the ball hit riccy on the back and fell perfectly for keane, the finish wasnt exactly easy, just a slight bit of misjudgement on Carvalhos part. Even concedeing 4 goals to villa, one was a set piece, one was a cech fuck up and the other was a penalty that should never have been awarded. Too many ppl think we'll be fantastic every game and stuff everyone, one day reality will hit them.

Arsenal have drawn at home to Birmingham, Villa, middlesbrough, lost to middlesbrough, came within 5 mins of losing at home to fulham and we dont have enough to beat them? I can understand you guys saying you dont think we'll win and to be honest i feel the same way, but thats just a feeling i have. Arsenal aint won for 4 games, we aint lost at SB for over 4 years, so it just seems obvious whats gonna happen on sunday. Saying WE CANT win is complete and utter bollocks. we can beat them, course we can. We aint a midtable shit team that looks at the top 4 and says we cant win, we are title contenders and on paper one of the best teams in europe and the world. We can beat anyone including Arsenal but i just dont think we will win. We can tho, make no mistake about it.

I was watching this and i said to TueBlue while it was at 2-1 that this is a crazy game and it could be any kind of score. I didnt expect to see what i saw tho ffs lol. The way it was, one of the greatest games of all time i suppose, both defences awful and both attacks looked on fire. There were chances every fucking 5 mins! When Keane scored i was in shock, some kinda stunned silence. What a goal tho, absolute top class strike. We even almost fucking lost it, my heart skipped like 4 beats when Berbatov went through in injury time. Looks as tho us, villa and yidos are having their own little 4-4 cometition to see whos game was the best. Tottenham 4-4 Aston Villa = Villa were 4-1 up Chelsea 4-4 Aston Villa = Villa were 2-0 up Tottenham 4-4 Chelsea = Chelsea were 3-1 up Chelsea lead both games 4-3 until the dying moments. Depressing or what. we would never concede 4 to tottenham or villa under Jose, in fact we wouldnt concede 4 to anyone under him. When Tottenham lost 5-4 at home to Arsenal a few years ago, Jose said that was stupid, it should never happen. Now Grant makes us draw 4-4 twice in a few months. Jose would fucking string the squad up if we conceded 4 to those teams under him. I bet he's in stiches right now. Specially as most are coming from set fucking pieces!! ok i'll admit, i am shitting it ahead of this game. I just cant see us winning. They are the one team we always struggle against in the league. Only beat them twice since 95/96 and they were both in season 05/06. This is the only match i actually dont look forward to. I hate playing them. Arsenal are due a win, we are due a home defeat, this is the kinda scenario that i dont like. I think our home record will be over by sunday evening along with our title chances but i seriously hope its not. Got very bad feelings tho.

i know luca brought granville from cambridge but he was still a good young english player. think he's still at palace. John Harley's at Burnley went everywhere after us. Sheffield United, Fulham etc. He played well for Burnley vs Arsenal in the FA Cup this season. I remember he got a winner for us against dirty leeds at Ellant Road. Great win that was.

David hopkin, i remember him mostly for scoring crystal palaces winner in the 1997 play off final vs sheffield united with a last minute wonder goal. he didnt do too bad for us but i didnt see him much because i only got into Chelsea at the end of 94. Jody Morris was my fav tho, more my era really he was pretty much a first teamer from 97-2000 really since scoring that goal at blackpool in the coca cola cup or whatever it was called then in 1996. Doobs is another that stands out because again, he was pretty much first team, i'll never forget his shot against the bar against man utd in that semi tho at villa park and that fucking own goal vs liecester when steve guppy decided to become world class for a few seconds. Mark Nicholls kinda dissappeared without warning, he had class. His finishes against coventry and yids were like hes been playing for years. If the likes of Doobs, Paul Hughes, Morris, Granville, Nicholls etc etc were a bit earlier, say 92-95 like Sinclair, Newton, Myers, they wouldve got more of a chance but Chelsea were changing a lot from 96-98. I'd liked to have seen Leon Knight given a chance, he looked very defoe like to me. Couldve done better for himself. In Fact, even Mikael Forssel couldve been one of our best ever strikers, the start of his Chelsea career was electric.

I was at the Chelsea galatasaray home game and their fans were nuts. They had half the east and west lower and were singing like religious songs to each other, then some crazy bastard ran on with a flag or something.

Well theres no way they have a stronger squad. They probably have a better first XI because they all know what they are doing, what their roles are and where they're playing. I still dont think we know our best first team yet but i believe they do. Squad wise tho, injuries/absentees dont hurt us as much as it hurts the rest.

Sometimes it really feels good to be wrong but Arsenal are due to win soon and we're who they have next. I hate games between Chelsea vs Arsenal at the best of times but when they aint won for so long, i'm very wary. Regarding the race, now its interesting. The season has pretty much started again like an 8 game race, Man Utd have a slight advantage but its still very close. If we beat Tottenham & Arsenal, i think we'll win the league but thats a massive if.

i know so. When Man Utd have Ronaldo & Rooney out, they struggle. All the games that they have lost this season have been without either 1 of those 2 or both. Arsenal are the same without Fabregas and Adebayor, they dont play great without them. Liverpool are all about Gerrard and Torres. Now with us its different. We have cover everywhere and it was shown around christmas time and during the african nations cup. No matter who played for us, we won and we had a good team out.

how are we so close to top? it doesnt matter who is in charge, a retard could guide that team to the top 4. Look at the squad, regardless who's in charge, we have the best squad in the league.
